Takara Tomy Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

Free-spinning layers doesn't make sense either, which is how it was done in the past. Could have something to do with the disks? From what I recall they looked different from normal disks, and could house the sparking component.

I’m thinking...  if the “sparking” gimmick doesn’t happen between contact of the beys, then maybe the locking mechanism will produce sparks.
(Every click of the lock will produce a little bit of sparks, then when it burst, a bunch of sparks fly out.)
That’s the only conclusion that I can draw right now, cuz if the spark material is on the contact points, then it may damage beys from the previous seasons. (Single layer, Dual Layer, God, Cho-Z, GT)

I had briefly considered this, but in order for that to work, it would have to be a flint and steel-type system, and no matter what way you look at it, having the sparks tied to the teeth/locking mechanism would result in horrible amounts of wear, to the point that beys would quickly go from having teeth to having slopes.

The flint & steel spark maker, (whatever they’ll call it, if this is the case, wouldn’t be the teeth...
That’ll fasho be a problem, one other problem would be that there will be no cross compatibility with previous seasons cuz if the new type of teef...

But TBH.. idk where they would put it...
I was thinking that they could have a mechanism like aB or bK, where there are little prongs on the layer that hug the prongs of the forge disc, and when a click happens, flint & steel somewhere inside the layer strike together, and produce sparks...

TBH though... I would prefer this gimmick to be between contact of the beys, instead of the locks,
Cuz that’ll be cooler... (then again...  why not have both ehh?).( >_>)

How about no sparking gimmick at all? If the launchers spark, that’ll be good enough for me. If the beyblades spark that poses a danger risk for younger kids.
Child Endangerment is not really a valid argument for them to exclude sparks from the beys, I understand the point you’re trying to make, but If it was such a danger to kids then they wouldn’t have made beys that sparked back in the Plastic Gen Era...

Either way, I’m kinda excited for this new season of burst.
One thing for sure, they are gonna have to blow GT away with this new season, cuz if they don’t then it’ll be a waste

I agree.
I defintely don't think the beys will spark. It's for sure the launcher in my opinion
Will we hurt our hands when we did not use the launcher grip then

There's an existing precedent for it. Sparking beys existed in the original plastics series of Beyblade. They could easily make beys spark.

Should they? I would say no. But then again, I'm afraid of fire, so, I'm biased.
Just hope the bey or the launcher have the sparkling gimmick and not hurt us

I assure you, TT will not release any products intentionally designed to hurt bladers. Only a jaded and bitter monster would actively consider methods of modifying launchers and beys in a way that actively harms the blader using them or other bladers.
Go back to the topic though I cannot see whether the bey or the launcher can sparkle nor news in trademark bot from Twitter, I saw another video about the chip core from zankye 's YouTube channel.

How are you guys?

I wonder what will be Achilles and Dragon in season five Beyblade Burst Sparking!

We already know that the launcher will produce sparks, as there have already  been a pic of the new launchers creating sparks that has been posted here a couple of weeks ago.

The beys in the other hand, we may not know until the official reported surface

Okay, just because the Plastic Beys from the Old Gen had beys that sparked back then, doesn't mean it was a good idea. Remember that the OG Plastic Beys were very flawed and back then, they were experimenting with weird ideas, the series really didn't have much of a direction as gimmicks were randomly plastered and some of the very aggressive-looking designs were pretty fragile. Yeah, MFB and Burst had it's fair shares of breakage issues but Plastics had a more flawed design.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like the Plastic Gen (whilst cool) felt it some of the designs and the gimmicks were more experimental.

Although they were indeed experimental, they still had rules & regulations regarding child safety, especially in the toy department, when they made them.

And yeah the old Gen had design flaws, mostly because of the fact that it was new back then, they’ve definitely developed their products to be more reliable and safer.

My assumption would be this;
If it wasn’t a problem then, when it was “flawed”,
When it should be a problem now. I’m pretty sure
(((If))) they added that gimmick to these beys (Which I said a couple of times that it’ll be unlikely),
They’ll make sure that it complies with all the health & safety rules & carp...

it kind of reminds me of Cho-z Valkyrie and Winning Valkyrie just by shape... that tattoo on the face looks like the same marking on valts cheek
Guys! I wonder what will be Achilles and Dragon in season five Beyblade Burst Sparking!

Yeah, their full names, their shapes and the ability.
Also the March beys😃, will they release the name today? I don’t know, because the way that Takara Tomy reveals information is just so full of suspense and we are waiting sincerely nauseatingly. I’ve been checking this room every day cuz I’m so anxious, just like the others.
I'm hoping we get images of the new Spryzen soon.

Please say Spriggan next time as this thread is for Takara Tomy releases only.

Maybe after Fafnir in May, Spriggan is not a radom booster bey and besides there is a stemina bey and left launcher

Sorry, I just think that Spryzen sounds cooler, but I will say Spriggan next time.

Both are the legendary spirit-based creature from Cornish fairy lore, but Spryzen is the Hasbro name, Spriggan is the true name.
