I'm fine, I had about $12 off in eBay bucks so I decided to use it.

It's worth it.
i am buying beys from the metal saga that i wasnt able to get when they first came out from powerpig, but the burst beys even if they will arrive faster is still more expensive, fromm amazon i was able to get 2 compared to the price of one from powerpig or taka.oho. i could have ordered it to get here tomorow but it brought the price up an extra $20, so i decided to keep the free shipping. but still i guess it all depends how much you have to spend lol
I found Burst in my neighbouring toy shop, but it is hell expensive (about 25-26USD for a valkyrie DX set). Dunno id I should wait for price drops.

for the DX set thats the cheapest price i found online with free shipping so far. I think you should get it, how much are the other 2 beys ?
Here is a cool video i found about beyblade burst! There are some crazy slow motion battles, i only watched a bit of it though, so not sure what it has in store for the whole video since it is 18 minutes haha.
Quick thoughts, the beyblade burst case shown in the video seems pretty legit, and it looks like something we would get in the future, i also noticed that the guy using Kerbeous Central Defense has a green beylogger sheet, not sure if that is just something he printed or if it will be a future release.

Yeah, it was posted by DranzerX13 in Beyblade General (he's also the one who uploaded it). It's pretty weird, but I enjoyed it! It definitely could have been shorter, though ... lol

Lol yeah, i was eating while watching this, the screaming made it seem like i knew what they were talking about haha. I was hoping for some future releases to be announced at the end, but that did not happen haha. Lastly i just went back until July 20th on this thread to make sure it was not posted, sucks that it was posted in another thread though
Just watched it again (LOL), their enthusiasm is pretty infectious ... maybe except for Ragnaruk dude. :')
I love how they keep the customization aspect right for the end. Most of us are used to it right now, but I would bet that pretty much anyone who loves Beyblade is drawn in by the customization aspect more than anything else at first.
This video does a great job of explaining all of the concepts, including the BeyCloud, but it's incredible that this kind of thing is included on a DVD with a magazine! I think laws regarding children's advertising are way more lax in Japan than in North America or Europe.

I wanted Ragnarok to win...
Mostly because that guy has no damn emotion and totally doesn't want any part of the video cx

He probably played before filming and realized how much his Beyblade sucked.

Heavy seems useful.
Not on Ragna, but I digress.
Also speaking of parts while I'm at it; isn't Spread the best Disk for Attack and Stamina so far? Things kind of look like HMS if that's the case.

Ragnaruk is the most useless out of all the Layers so far, and Heavy is the best for attack and defense, but there really is no major difference between the layers so far, so it would only be a minor difference if you decide to use spread or central (wing just sucks). This is just an opinion but i think Central and Heavy are the best for stamina.
It doesn't seem like much conclusive testing has been done on the effects of each Disk, probably because so few people have duplicates of parts.

Yeah for sure! There needs to be a lot more people doing tests with these, making a conclusion out of just mine and Kei's testing would be silly. I have this little theory, where the heavier the disk is the easier it would be to burst, i think this because since the weight will be getting pushed down by gravity the springs in the driver will get pushed down giving the layer less of the spike on top of the driver which would make it potentially easier to burst. Not sure if weight would actually effect the bey negatively by making it easier to burst, but i am sure it would have minor effects depending on the weight of the disk.

I got mine today, but since I insisted by putting all the stickers on beforehand, I didn't even have much time to play by the time I was done ...
In my first few attempts, I noticed that the battles usually ended very suddenly, either with Beyblades going off balance or bursting on contact. This wasn't what it was like when I played with Kai-V, so I'm hoping it's just awkwardness playing alone and being distracted by the in-play Beyblade ... will try more tomorrow.

I spent some time playing around today now that my schedule is a lot emptier, and I experienced the same thing. There wasn't much burst action going on for me, that was usually just when I tried picking up the bey, but quite often the beys would be knocked off balance and spin on their sides. I don't know what was causing it, but I'm hoping that's not how matches will typically be.
FWIW, Burst is just an inherently unbalanced design — those huge metal prongs on the Disk are on only two of its four sides. Beyblades that are off-balance also seem more susceptible to bursting, but it will take some time to understand the full ramifications of it. But I think balance — as in, physical balance — will be more important than ever.

This can certainly happen, but it really depends a lot on how you launch, what Beyblades you're using, and what type of contact they make early on. For example, I was testing various Kerbeus vs. Kerbeus combo variants tonight comparing the Stamina of particular parts and the Burst frequency was very low compared to the average of 50%. There's a lot of factors to consider, of course.
Well, of course Kerbeus Vs. Kerbeus ... lol
I guess our rivalry is about to be rekindled!? Though I have some serious catching up to do ...

That's an extreme example, obviously! I've noticed them going off balance too, but it's usually as a result of a strong hit, or a poor (or purposeful) launch.
Rivalry? I think we've literally only ever battled each other twice ... in the basement of the Doubletree/International Plaza at AN six years ago LOL.
... and you beat me

I agree. So i havent the time to read the thread,so can someone explain these new beys to me?via pm?
Just watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJpVCEijVhA
Finally received my set from the WHF! Took ages, but now B-00, B-01, B-02, B-03 and B-04 are in my hands! Mwahahaha!
Also recorded the unboxings of all 5 and one or two horrible test matches. I really need to get a string launcher at some point... I couldn't get Valkyrie to burst Spriggan at all during 4 test matches, which I thought was strange, but it was probably due to my appalling skills with light launchers.
