I still want Ragnarok. I mean you gotta have that sexy Layer.
TAKARA-TOMY announces new, third Beyblade generation: Beyblade Burst! ベイブレードバースト

That's kind of how it's been in the past though, and keep in mind that these are stock Beyblades. The only stock form of Leone or Dranzer that was remotely viable was Dranzer V2.
But then again, the Beyblade's game performance has nothing to do with how good it is in the anime (again, prime examples being Leone and Dranzer).
Rock Leone at least held it's ground against Storm Pegasis enough...
I won't judge just yet and it won't put me off buying Spriggans for looks.

It depends. Did you purchase a pre-order or was it already in stock from the hobby fair? What kind of shipping did you pay for?
Taka ohno ems delivery from the pre-release from the hobby fair, so already in stock.

EMS delivery is generally three-to-four business days. Did he give you any kind of tracking number? It may have been held up in customs. I suggesting emailing him about it.
Just curious but who would build a combo that had the least chance of bursting if they had the parts? I'm wondering if people would worry about their bey bursting so much that they only go for burst prevention rather than actual performance.
Burst prevention is certainly a part of "actual performance."

You know how there's parts in Zero-G (like BWD, MB, or supposedly B:D and TB) that are supposed to resist sway/Zero-G Attack? I'm pretty positive that "Burst Defense" is going to be a thing at some point in the future that is somewhat different from conventional Defense.
The same may go with "Burst Attack", but from what I've seen from various video clips the difference will probably be less between the types of Attack as powerful hits can both KO and Burst the opponent.
Today I have tested Burst beyblades VS Metal Fury (masters) ones - and not even once did the beyblades burst. I would have expected otherwise since the metal ones are heavier. So its definitely the edges on the plastic layer that makes the burst (moves the layer towards the burst position).
There is also one other thing that disappointed me. I thought that you can make the burst levels (so not to assemble the layer all the way to the end.) so that the blades burst faster (my kids love it when they "explode").
But unfortunaly than you can not launch the blade (it just stays on the launcher). Shame... It would be a nice feature - like a handicap of sort...
But anyway - Beyblade burst are SO MUCH FUN!!! You watch the match till the end because you never know if you are gonna burst... There was a lot of times when the "winner" bursted in the end and lost the match... Really, really cool feature!!!

This. Definitely keeps matches intense, but makes me wonder on the strategic side of the game.
Since some people already own the burst stadium, how is it in terms of durability? I know that the colored BB-10s tend to be more brittle and fragile compared to the clear one, so what kind of plastic does the burst stadium use?
Swear down if they pitch another string launcher I will be very annoyed- its just not an enjoyable mechanic!
At least the string launcher is an optional feature.

Not if you want to win.
I just wish that the string launchers were like the HMS ones: A nice, thick cord that you have to rewind by hand. It seemed much more durable and the string could be replaced if it broke.
I saw it in videos and while it looks powerful and satisfying, it also looks harder to pull and may slip, I hope that's not how it is.

I am not certain why anybody would want to go back to cavemen practices.

hahahaha good one.
I had no idea the burst were coming out so soon, should've read up on it. Going to have to get the string launcher, Beylogger, the Grip and possibly the DX set. God, there goes like $300.
Is there an option to Turn off the Burst Feature with the Notches in the Beys?
