Rock Leone at least held it's ground against Storm Pegasis enough...
I won't judge just yet and it won't put me off buying Spriggans for looks.

That's kind of how it's been in the past though, and keep in mind that these are stock Beyblades. The only stock form of Leone or Dranzer that was remotely viable was Dranzer V2.
But then again, the Beyblade's game performance has nothing to do with how good it is in the anime (again, prime examples being Leone and Dranzer).

It depends. Did you purchase a pre-order or was it already in stock from the hobby fair? What kind of shipping did you pay for?

I'm wondering if people would worry about their bey bursting so much that they only go for burst prevention rather than actual performance.
Burst prevention is certainly a part of "actual performance."

I just wish that the string launchers were like the HMS ones: A nice, thick cord that you have to rewind by hand. It seemed much more durable and the string could be replaced if it broke.

I am not certain why anybody would want to go back to cavemen practices.
