So he challenged me and I put up the thread

Here are the entries:

Entry A:

It is pretty evident whose is whose. I choose A because it has a good color scheme but the text is distracting. B is just a render glued on to a smudge background. Entry B you NEED to use tuts and steer away from that style. So entry a gets my vote!

a smudge bg u say? u dont even know half of the stuff entry b did. try blending urself dude, all u do is spam ur sig with a bunch of fractals, put a render, and add an effect to a duplicated render. there were many effects except smudging he had to use. sorry if im harsh but get better urself before trying to make the other guy better.

Well No offence intended but yeah Two entries are also bad!

Render placement is bad! Text is bad...No blending...No Flow.....Just some random Stock and Some Brushes!Its really Messy! Make ur OWN Background next time...Its not the time to use Stocks!

Render Placement is not so good! We can hardly see the smudge! Sharpen the smudge layer!! NO FLOW! Needs More Blending! Is it me or the render looks stretched? Fix it next time!




The Last thing im saying to both of u is Keep my CNC's In Mind if u want to improve!


BTW My vote goes to Entry B(I knw its not soo good but i voted Entry B cuz atleast he has made his own Background!)

IMHO, both don't deserve a vote.
But well, Entry A is better than B. by a close shot.

1. It has better colors.
2. Depth is much better.
3. The blending is less, but it is cleaner.

I just like Entry A better. Both suck nonetheless.

Entry A

A: honestly, this isn't that good. The color scheme is nice, but I see the transparent box around the bey.

B: The smudge is hard to see, and the blending is bad. It looks like you used a golden gradient map, then smudged it, then placed the render, then added another golden gradient map. The smudge could be better also.
I suggest you read some tuts on smudging, because there are better ways.

Syco, honestly you need to take CnC from battles as help. That's their opinion, just because you hate their opinion there is no need to be harsh on them.

Both entries are horrible but still a good job.

Entry A, love the flow and color scheme and use of splatter brushes. Although, the blending was really messed up. Too much blurring, you could've smudged it to blend it in.

Entry B, not much to it. Lacks all the basics, the render is too small and stretched out.

I kinda knew who's was who's from the start.

Death keep working on your stuff, I see potential in you if you can take brutal CnC well.
Syco, just use CnC man, being stuck up and feeling that everyone is against your style and whatnot isn't going to help. Been there, done that. Ask Synth how bad I was last year Tongue_out

I think we all knew whose was whose from when we first looked at them. They both were great.
