It's really been nearly three years? Nice.
All I can say for dreams is that I have now had three in a row which doesn't happen that often and they just keep getting weirder. The second one was horrible and i don't really want to think about it.

I think everyone dreams every night actually, you only remember it if you wake up in the middle of a dream though if I remember right.
It's strange to think that we have amazing dreams every night, so vivid and cool yet when we wake up we pretty much entirely forget them unless we wake up in the middle of one, and even then we apparently only remember a certain amount of them because our brain simply isn't programmed to remember such things! =O
Pikachao is correct we can only remember so much based upon if the dream was interesting to us in any way kinda like with Zander Soulwind he might be having those dreams to show things that he wants to happen or things that he doesnt wont to happen or it could just be his emotions showing him something that might be interesting to the self concious when he is asleep
P.S. people have been training their brains to sleep in several ways for example i fell asleep standing up and woke up the same way but I was to sore to walk at all, I have been trying to recall all my dreams lately to try and figure out how I act while unconcious unfortunetly it is very hard to do

I don't think i would like some creature with a blue tentacle to be real as every time I cut the thing it leached onto me and started to suck at my arm but I was able to pull it of until a small bit grows to heads that attach to my arm and start to suck at it and I couldn't get it off along with the facted that no one would believe me. Last thing I remember for that dream was that I looked at my arm and it was all bumpy and horrible and the thing was still there. It is a dream that freaked the hell out of me.
As for the first one, I'm not so sure on that.
If im thinking about something before i sleep it generally pops up somehwere in a dream.
Well, I know I had some really intense dream last night but I can't remember what it was, and when I woke up I felt like I'd been running around all night because I was so active in my dream.
It was so annoying, it felt like I didn't get any sleep so when my alarm went of I just groaned and nearly fell out of bed when I turned over. xD
Something about being chased happened in my dream or... something. I dunno. =[

About two years ago I had a dream about my boarding school (first boarding school). Mind you, I had only been there about a week when I had this dream.
The dorm was actually a two story cottage and the common room was at base level. I roomed on the second story. In the dream, I walked in the door, passed the common room, went down the smallhall, up the stairs.
Normally, I would just round the bend on the right and go to my room, but I kept walking down the short hall toward the last of the bedrooms. This time, I noticed the door I had assumed was the closet. I decided to go in. One girl said we weren't allowed, but I continued anyway.
There was a set of steep stairs that gave off the feeling of climbing a ladder. When I reached the top, I noticed a few things: parts of the floor were incomplete, there was only one small window on the right side, stone walls in the center, and pretty much four sections to the attic. The area to my right was what really caught my eye.
There was a black and purple portal and standing before it was a young blond man with sharp eyes, and a middle aged woman with dark eyes and dark hair. The man grabbed my arm, and tried pulling me in. He looked pretty sketchy, so I yanked back and broke free. They both turned to go through the portal without me. I extended my arm and took a step forward. Before I could say "wait", the woman turned, took my arm, but did not pull me. Instead, she just stared at me, to tell me it was my last chance. I let go. They left.
The date "March 12TH" flashed through my head, and I woke up. I told Kathie, and only Kathie about my dream and the date. She told me that there was, in fact, an attic, but it remained locked because kids used to go up and do...erm... stuff that was against the rules.
It was January.
March 10th I get a phone from Kathie while I was home for the weekend. She asked me if I opened the attic. I told her I couldn't because I didn't have the key. She told me it was open.
I got back the next day, but because of room checks at 11:30 (give or take depending on staff), I didn't go up until midnight on March 12th. Everything looked as it did in my dream minus the abnormal (portal and two people). That was the only time the attic was ever unlocked during my stay.

Wow Deikailo, that's pretty creepy. You sure you never saw the attic before anywhere?
Some stuff like that has happened to me before but I usually disregard it. Plus, I'm SO bad at remembering dreams. A trick that works for me if I want to remember dreams is, I think "I will remember my dreams in the morning, I will remember my dreams in the morning" for as long as I can until I fall asleep.
I always leave a notepad and pen near my bed when I do this, and when I wake up for some reason I remember the dream I was having REALLY clearly. =S
Sounds crazy, but try it. I thought it was dumb at first too but it seems to work. =]

Yeah, I had only been there for a week. There was no way I could have seen it before.
The dreams I normally get I don't want to remember. Between the ages of I'd say 8-17 all of my dreams generally consisted of morbid things.

Something Im sad about is that I used to could control my dreams and what I do In them accurately. But for whatever reason I cant anymore... I always wanted to be able to control a dream when I was at school, and It finally happened a few months ago. It was so fun I threw stuff at all the teachers and started a food fight in the cafeteria!
congats to you jsc where would we all be if we couldn't dream, i guess we would just wait there with or eyes closed resting or bodies and minds, then again dreams are caused by or minds and also can be how we feel emotionally and physically so we would have to nutralize all of those elements which would make in-human
i cant get it.. how can you control a dream? this is so weird. someone explain how, i want to do it

I know how but it is all down to how you sleep. Anyway, in order to control it you have to be in a light sleep which means you are asleep but you are aware of the dream so you can do whatever you want with the dream.
I can't say I have had one like that though.
Ive had a full dream and known i was dreaming. Its happened a few times actually.
OK, I only said about part of it and I also forgot what it was called.
Thanks for the link though, I learned a little more about it from that.

Yeah once it was really cool. I was dreaming and knew it. I kept shifting from feeling my real body to the dream perspective.
