We now know that the tournament will definitely go ahead. We have one possible venue at the moment:

Location:
ExCeL
Royal Victoria Dock
London,
E16 1XL, UK

Your hosts:
Me (ChozenBlader)
TheGigsMeister

Judges:
Blitz
Gekiryu

The time of day and the specific date are still to be decided, but for any suggestions towards running the tourney, or if you want to apply to be a judge, say so here.

Tournament setup:
There will be a plastics division, MFB Division and HMS division. The winners will get prizes (but we do not know what the prizes will be as of yet). Also, there will be a free-play section as well, for those who want to test combos or simply blade for the sake of it.

The matches will run on the point system. [/b]

For the record, according to the rules, if you break your opponents blade, you win instantly (although I must stress, please don't try to do this on purpose)

There may be a small entrance fee to pay for the prize. The amount is undecided.
Feel free to suggest any ideas.

IMPORTANT: There will be a blacklist. If your name is added to it, you will not be allowed to attend the tourney. This is to prevent trouble makers from spoiling the event.

Also, please, if you can, bring a stadium with you. The more stadiums we have, the more battles we can have at one time. Please note: Only Takara stadiums are legal for competitive play.

You will be allowed to buy and sell beyblades at the tournament. Just make sure your prices aren't outrageous Wink

Remain on topic please. We don't want to deture the conversation at hand.
How long do you think it will take ro do the tournament?
As long as it takes tbh. There will be no time limit, I will be there for the weekend hopefully. I can imagine blading will be finishing when the expo finishes.
Has anyone talked to Chozen lately? He's been missing for like two weeks.
i think i'm now going for the full weekend, on the second day i'll just walk around with my stadium and blades incase anyone wants to play.
i bet bladers will take the place of the normal TCG area lol Tongue_out_wink
I challenge anyone in the Flint, MI Area or any Area to beyblade me P.S. I live in Burton

I hope nothing has happened to him. D:

I don't normally go on the second day but I might this time being as I know a lot of people going on different days. It would be cool if we could have an unofficial mini tourney on the sunday. Grin

But enough off topicness or I'll get told off......Tired
I'm buying Pegasis for the Tourney and the Metal Division is it MFB and HMS? :l
I believe there will be both an MFB divison and an HMS division. Smile
No. Actually I will be in the HMS Division

I think he is saying no to his previous post where he said he would buy Pegasis for the MFB, now he said he will just be in HMS.
I really don't think hosting so many divisions is a good idea. You're just going to divide up the number of participants.
I'd never really considered it. You think we should just stick to HMS and MFB then? Or plastic and HMS? I dunno how many people have MFB yet.....
Put HMS into the MFB group. Right now less people have MFB and they're not as powerful as some of the later HMS releases, so it's really their choice if they want to choose weaker blades.

Actually, this is a problem for me. Putting HMS and MFB together means we're going to see the same Bearing Core and Samurai Upper/Grip carp that we see every year.

I'm hosting my tournament as MFB-only and selling/giving away MFB at the tournament. I'm sick of catering to people who think they should be able to use their eight year old Beyblades in a serious competition and be catered to.
Personally, I think MFB should be the main focus of attention. I know some people that post here and at my forum who don't own MFB but tbh, you only need to buy one to participate. Depending on my launcher quantity or number of blades I MAY rent them out...but I'm not 100%. Chances are, are that we may have blades to sell there assuming we get a stall because no doubt, theINtoy would use this to advertise as well if I talked to them about it.
Well, if people can buy them then that'll be great. But not many people will be able to use much strategy if they buy them there.....they won't be able to test them out for themselves and probably won't be able to buy too many.......plus if we get people who aren't from the WBO, chances are they won't really know much about MFB. Uncertain
I don't mind too much about plastics (though I know people who will) but I think there should definitely be an HMS division.
