About the WBO

Welcome to the All-Valley Qualifier
First I would like to thank my OG collaborator poliswag for always getting the San Fernando Valley/Chatsworth community prepped and ready for the success that we see each and every time we have an event.

Secondly, thank you to my new collaborators from the Coastal Region. Its nice having a committed group of Bladers so close to us ready and willing to compete with us as well as come together for the
fun times

Now onto the event!

Top players from this event will receive an invite to the special event hosted by Blader/Organizer Jamcobs for the chance to win a plane ticket and hotel stay at the North American Regional event happening this year.

In the event that our event hits 64 players our top 16 players will receive and invitation to Jamcob's event at a later date. If less than 64 players attend then the top 8 players will receive an invitation.

The All-Valley Qualifier will function as a small taste of what a regional event might offer because our goal is to implement the same rules and restrictions that we will theoretically see at Regionals and Worlds.

The player cap for this event will be 84 players so bring your A game! or maybe even further beyond that!!

The format of the event is as follows:
3on3 first to 5 points
Top Cut
3on3 to 7 points

As long as we break 64 players we will play swiss for the first round followed by a Single Elimination Bracket with the top 32 players. If less than 64 players attend top cut will be 16 player single elimination. This way if you make it into top cut you only have to secure one more victory to receive an invite to Jamcobs event.

Since it is likely that Regionals and Worlds will follow the Takara Tomy ruleset our floor judges will be implementing those same rules.

With this in mind be prepared for the following rules to be in effect:

Own Finish will be in effect at all times. We will be subjected to this at regionals so it will be good practice. This includes direct to pocket without touching the stadium floor

No unofficial modifications to launchers: i.e. slip grips or any other 3d printed parts- Takara Tomy does not allow these so we must get used to these conditions

No ratchet swapping whatsoever - this is not new for my tournaments but I still want to make it clear.

Stickers - The only stickers I will allow at this event are the Bit Beast Style stickers because they will allow official ones at the Big Event and custom ones won't affect performance.

All of these rules will be with Judge and Head Judge discretion in mind.
If you are not sure if you are playing with legal parts don't be afraid to ask your judge ahead of time or TheJush specifically. My judges can always check with me as well.

In addition to invitations we will be offering Cash Prizing.

The amount will be determined by attendance so if all 84 spots are filled expect it to be a high stakes competition for multiple reasons, and as always remember it's a game.
We are here to have fun, so come out for an incredible day of Beyblade!
