SUNDAY, APRIL 21 2013
Martin Luther King Jr. Park - Silver Spring, Maryland
ZERO-G FORMAT

Registration: 11-12:15PM
Roll Call: 12:30PM
Start: 12:45-1PM

Address: 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904 (Martin Luther King Jr. Park)

THE REVOLUTION BEGINS! Maryland Bladers, this is your chance to earn paid travel expenses to Toronto to play in the WBO North American Championship, BEYBLADE REVOLUTION!!

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on this WBO North American Championship Qualifier Series tournament, regardless of whether or not participants have a Blader Passport (if you do not have one, you are welcome to purchase one in the place of the $5 fee, though), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

What can I win?
The winner of this qualifier will receive the following:
  • Paid travel expenses, by plane or bus (whichever is cheapest) to ANIME NORTH 2013 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for BEYBLADE REVOLUTION.
  • An ANIME NORTH 2013 Pass
Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto, but the WBO Committee will work closely with the winner to make sure that they find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs.

Hey whats the bey rank thing u guys have by your name?
The Beyrank next to our names are our Beyranks, but they haven't been updated in a long time due to the new Beypoint count system coming out very soon. We have Beyranks because we have been to a tournament before that was processed so we have wins and losses to be scored upon giving us a ranking. I'm answering because you only have a few posts and little online time, next time use the search button, we don't want the thread to get off topic, with other topic questions.

EDIT: Sorry if I sounded mean here wasn't trying to, Internet + Tone = Nope
Oh ok...well thank u billy for taking the time to explain...much appreciated
Thanks for putting
Me on the list!!!!!!!!!
Basic outline of what I will be selling:
Five HMS beys for the hms tournament following this (including dragoon, wyvern, and DEMS)
A whole ton of the original plastic generation beyblades (including tons of top-tier parts)

HMS LAUNCHERS
PLASTIC LAUNCHERS AND GRIP

You will want to buy this stuff, so bring tons of money
Surprise! I am pretty much confirmed now, but I will have to leave around 3:45-4:00. This means we really have to start at 12:45 and not 1:15 like previous tournaments.

So no HMS for me. Unhappy
Excited though!
That's awesome Ginga! Team Jakusha will represent Grin. Don't forget to bring my BWD too, you can use it in the tournament like we do with the Dragooons.
Haha, even if I get first I won't be going to Toronto.

Of course I will!
Put on the maybe list for the silver spring tournament. I might be coming but right now I'm not sure
i will be there for both

confirm me

confirm me
Good luck tomorrow everyone! Smile
ok chances of going are becoming slim but pretty sure i can talk my mom in to it so im a MAYBE now ill try to go cant promise anything though just a heads up
Everybody, remember to tell Stars what Face Booster you want. Passport Holders choose two, non-Passport Holders get one.

Considering all of the noobs (no offense) we have coming, I will be printing a couple copies of the Universal Rules.
On note, If Geetster99 gets first place again he will not participate the finals but he will still get rewarded 1st place face, which means 2nd and 3rd place will face off at the finals to win the grand prize to Toronto.

Any question please don't haste to PM me or Arupaeo Smile

There will be no prize on the other note. only the prize to Toronto.

Good luck everyone!
Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer my questions, i know ive had a lot already. But wondering....is this competition held outside or does the park have sort of indoor facility that we will be using? Also how old are u guys on here? And any advice for a first timer? I know u wont give up any of your real secrets because everyone wants to win but i need some guidance if anyone can help...thanks
The tournament will be held outside under the pavilion, We will be using blanket to cover the concrete to avoid any damages to the tip and will also use cardboard to balance the Zero-G stadium position.

Alot age group are about 10-15 years old and couple 5-9 year old and few 16-older.

And tips for you.....Have fun, that all it matters, try to win.
