Better Late Than Never!

Hi everyone! This is the official thread for our February tournament being held at Martin Luther King Park Silver Spring, MD on Sunday, February. The main tournament on Sunday will be Limited format, but in honor of the new Limited Format we will try to have a HMS/Plastic format tournament immediately after the Limited tournament. It all depends on the turnout and sun light, but we will do our best to make all 3 happen!

Location:The closest address to put in your GPS is 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904, but be sure to look at the map above for the actual location of the tournament which will be beside the pavilion (just above the basketball courts)

Registration: 11:00am - Noon Seriously, show up on time please!
Start time: Noon-thirty-ish
End time: 3pm for Limited - 5pm for the HMS and/or Plastic
Format: TBD depending on number of bladers
Stadiums: BB-10 HMS: Tornado Balance Type S
Surface: Grass or Concrete with cardboard
Fees: $5 entry fee or $10 if you want to purchase a passport; if you have one it free.
MFB Prizes: Zero-G beys and gear (TBD)

10 Bladers enjoyed the surprise 60 degree weather in MLK park today for: Better Late Than Never!

Here are the final standings:

1st place: LikeABoss921
2nd place: Tech
3rd place: Burn Rock Virgo

Wow, not only did I not have to pay $200 for a room at the Marriott, but Burn Rock Virgo got his first place face ever! Woot! And a big shout out to LikaABoss921 for his first Gold face! It was a great day!

I'm not sure if you know this, but Arupaeo has not processed anything since July 2013. It is OK since he has a deposit for fees, and I do the processing anyway.

In any case, drop me a PM once you've sent in the fees for the Plastic tournament, and I'll process both tournaments in one go.
