Hi everyone! This is the official thread for The Dual Duel - 2011's last outdoor tournament in Martin Luther King Jr. Park - on Sunday, October 16. (We will move indoors beginning in November)

Location: The closest address to put in your GPS is 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904, but be sure to look at the map above for the actual location of the tournament which will be beside the pavilion (just above the basketball courts)
Registration: 10:30am - Noon
Start time: Noon-thirty Wink
Format: 2 Block Round Robin tournaments in BB-10 attack stadiums, to occur simultaneously or sequentially depending on number of attendees (NO double elimination!)
Surface: Grass!
Fees: Standard WBO fees ($5 entry fee or free with a Blader Passport)
Prizes: Pool of (1) Random Booster v8 and (2) Random Booster v7s
1st place gets first pick plus a MF-H (NIB)
2nd place gets second pick
3rd place gets third pick

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

I do like the your offer to help teach raylay some tips though! We were all new once, and we all started somewhere. And while seeing everybody every month and being with fellow bladers is half the fun, and we all learn something every time we battle, it is always nice to have someone show you the ropes!

Been a while since I posted but yeah, I don't live in Montgomery County anymore :[
I moved to Baltimore for school and it's been kicking my butt :p

So, I won't be attending this tourney but I bet it will go well!
Arupaeo is hosting champ, he's got this!

If Otsu host a bmore tourney again I'll prop attend that one. So heads up :]

Basalt is not unbeatable, he doesn't need one, man basalt is starting to get on my nerves because now everyone thinks that it's the best, Especially the new people.

anyone who relies on basalt ( other than the person that I let use my grip, who's account was called basalt, 'cause they only had basalt there) is going to get pwned, because you can't rely on any other heavy wheels, like earth, for example. Basalt may be a good wheel, but I think it's overrated, if I can come, then I will beat those basalt-addicted bladers easily!

For those of you who had ordered things from me, I have good news! The orders are in!

For everyone, I have some good news as well. I was able to get the Random Booster 7s at a reduced price, so instead of $20 they will only be $15!

Should I bring my hasbro stadium for free play, I have just about all of them so tell me what one you want me to bring, if you want me to bring one. Also someone should bring a video recorder and record the battles and post them on youtube.
