The age of the dual layers has come upon Maryland Beyblade. What better way to celebrate than with what will likely be Time's only tournament of the summer and lawesomeness's last as a part of the Maryland Beyblade community, a new iteration of the triple threat. This time taking place with Burst, Zero-G (no more F230CF/GCF for good!), and an ode to plastics.

MLK Park (The closest address to put in your GPS is 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904, but be sure to look at the map for the actual location of the tournament
which will be beside the pavilion (just above the basketball courts))


Registration:

11:30-noon
Tournaments:
Zero-G noon-2:00
Tag Team 2:00-2:30
Burst 2:30-4:00
Plastics 4:00-5:30


Fees:

$5 to participate per official WBO tournament or
$15 for a blader passport that covers the cost of all your tournaments for the year
Blader Passport Holder Exclusive: $3 fee for Tag Team (not WBO official)


DO NOT COME WITHOUT MONEY! While we all love the WBO none of us have the free cash to cover the cost for everyone to play! Also, I will have a substantial amount of Bakuten Shoot, Burst and MFB blades and gear available for purchase! So if you want to get competitive in Burst or refresh your arsenal in either of the previous two generations (including rare plastics/HMS, Takara Orange F230, Zero-G Attack Stadiums and mint Wyvangs) bring some money (I am able to take credit cards!)

Zero-G: All tops produced in the MFB line are allowed other than any parts paired with F230CF/GCF

Wish we could have played Zero-G, but due to weather and a couple of late shows, cough, cough *beymaster15963* and **Ginga**, we only ended up playing two tournaments on the day. However, they were still quite a lot of fun!

On this of day of bey, 12 bladers managed to make it out to compete including a new passport holder in @[beymomdelaware] , the mother of thegrimripper13 and the beyninja.

in burst we had
lawesomeness taking first using
Deathscyther Heavy Survive
Deathscyther Heavy Accel
Wyvern Heavy Survive

Time taking second and the shard
winning all but one match using Deathscyther Heavy Accel
and losing one match each with Valkyrie Heavy Xtreme and Deathscyther Heavy Defense

Sniper taking third
using Valkyrie Heavy Gyro

Fun tournaments guys, I guess my blader spirit just wasn't in it today haha.

Made a bunch of bad picks in Burst (specifically not using Neptune Gravity Revolve against Law's Deathscyther Heavy Accel/Wyvern Heavy Survive and Ripper's Kerbeus Spread Survive) and lost a tiebreaker match to Ginga in Plastics in basically the same matchup I won 3-0 almost a year ago. Kinda disappointed that Zero-G didn't happen, but it was probably for the best since my B:D was broke so I probably would have done poorly there too.

Anyways, here are the spreadsheets:
