Thrills, Spills and Chills!

Hi everyone! This is the official thread for our November tournament being held in the Mid-Atlantic's favorite Beyblade venue, Martin Luther King Jr. Park - on Saturday, November 17 in Silver Spring, MD.

I'm sorry it took so long, but I was trying to get us indoors as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the negotiations with a local hotel hasn't concluded yet so we are still outside!

.
Location: Map of MLK Park The closest address to put in your GPS is 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904, but be sure to look at the satellite view of the map above for the actual location of the tournament which will be inside the pavilion (just above the basketball courts)

What?!?!?!?!?!

Well, that us too bad. We just started Team Jakusha ...
Well first, I want my RDF and your Death, if you are not using it. And, when you are 50 google beyblade. Wink

Will google be around when we are 50?
Probably. But more importantly, where are all the Maryland Bladers at???

This is not how we represent...
I'll try to convince my parents to let me go this year :l hopefully it would be like this last year :/
Not gonna be able to make it on a saturday, unfortunately.
I thought I said I was confirmed for now lol, Well I am confirmed. I must have distorted memory or something
OK, so we have 8. Good. I again might go, but I'll have to ask my parents. Expect me though. Smile
i might be there i hope!
Man, I will not be there. This is the one time Sunday is better than Saturday. XD
I Can't Come ... I got Basketball Practice Today And My Parents Are Saying I Can't Skip It :3

Probably They Are Busy
I might be 5 minutes or something past registration but please put me on the list I will be there before 12:30

Odd, I have Basketbal practice today as well lol but I'm skipping lol
You guys can't understand geography? Anyway MD is Maryland not AZ as Arizona
12 Bladers were not frightened by either the potentially cold weather, or the potential return of Arupaeo in Thrills, Spills and Chills! (As it happens I did "return" to play today) We alternated each tournament round between BBG-04 Zero-G Attack Stadiums, BBG-11 Zero-G Defense Stadiums and the BBG-18 Balance Stadiums, and used the Balance Stadium exclusively in the Finals.

Block Round Robin was harrowing as there was a 3-way tie for the 2nd spot in the finals from Block 1 - including (can you believe it?!?) Burn Rock Virgo!!! BRV went 1-1 in the tiebreak, only losing to the eventual tiebreak winner: geetster99. Next time buddy! Smile

So, speaking of results... here we go!

Zero-G!!!
1st place: *Billy*
2nd place: Arupaeo
3rd place: geetster99
4th place: Tech - who still got a prize because I don't take prizes at my own tournaments Eee

The next tournament is going to be either Saturday, December 15th or Sunday, December 16th - depending on what inside venue I can secure and when. I'll keep you all posted.

See you all next month for more Zero-G!!!

Arupaeo
Did you look into the park shelters at all like I suggested?

Good Job All Winners!
Im A Little Surprized That geetster99 Got In Third. :3

Im Still A little Annoyed That I Couldn't Make ItPinching_eyes_2

I Just Want To Ask... How Do You Get Faces? I Know You Can Get Them By Winning Tournaments And Getting A Passport But Are There Other Ways? I'm Just Wondering.
There are Face contests, trading your credits, and Donating I think

And me fighting Geetster was AWESOME well maybe not for him lol,
Our first match was basically a draw, KOed him insted of OS in the finals.
It was amazing when I battled Aru too lol Left Launches for the win. I was losing 2-0 then I KOed 3 times. Really disapointed Ginga and AJ didn't come, besides the fact I need to get my pieces back XD

Well also, now that I have a BB-10 Attack Stadium, I can start hosting tournaments in my area in MD just got to wait for the winter to end which might kill my opportunites...
Congrats to all, but especially BRV and Billy! (surprised Aru didn't place first XD)

You will get your pieces Billy.

Billy won our match in the finals by using his bey skillfully - and that means (to me) that he totally earned the tournament win! My hat is off to him, and more importantly I have to figure out a way to beat his technique... Smile
