October Achtung!

Hi everyone! This is the official thread for our October tournament being held in the Mid-Atlantic's favorite Beyblade venue, Martin Luther King Jr. Park - on Sunday, October 21 in Silver Spring, MD.

Location: Map of MLK Park The closest address to put in your GPS is 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904, but be sure to look at the satellite view of the map above for the actual location of the tournament which will be inside the pavilion (just above the basketball courts)

Registration: 11:00am - Noon Seriously, show up on time please!
Start time: Noon-thirty-ish
End time: Usually 3pm for most, 4pm for the finalists
Format: TBD depending on number of bladers
Stadiums: BBG-04 Attack, BBG-11 Defense, and BBG-18 Balance (Alternating rounds)
Surface: Concrete with blankets and cardboard
Fees: Standard WBO fees ($5 entry fee or free with a Blader Passport)
MFB Prizes: Zero-G beys and gear (TBD)

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian

If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.

8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited

Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.

9. Terms of Service

All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Im a balance of attack and balance beys, I have 4 mfbs and one zero g,, I used to have a string launcher and a launcher grip, but they broke, so now im stuck using a standard ripcord launcher.

It Turns Out That My Brother , BeyRock Doesn't Want To Participate in this tournament. He Just Said That . He Will Be There But Not BeyBlading. So You Can Take Him Off Since He Is Niot Coming. Im Coming (*kimchi Is Still Coming To Participate But Not BeyRock)

To be fully accurate and precise. Block Round Robin is Round Robin divided in blocks and the people with the best record head to the finals for a Round Robin at least the way Arupaeo does it.
I am heading to the tournament site now I might be there same time as Arupaeo lol. Also, Tech I might be interested in that CF.

We (mom, brother, & I were at the park when I stumbled upon you guys. I'd like to know when the next competition is. My mom purchased the passport for the whole year. Since I am new, will someone tell me what I must do.

Keep your eye on this thread to see when the next tournament is. I will send out a private message as well.

All that being said, basically you just have to post on the new tournament thread letting us know that you are coming, and then show up!

11 Bladers were not frightened by either the potentially cold weather, or the potential return of Arupaeo in October Achtung! (As it happens I did not "return" to play today) We alternated each tournament round between BBG-04 Zero-G Attack Stadiums, BBG-11 Zero-G Defense Stadiums and the BBG-18 Balance Stadiums, and used the Balance Stadium exclusively in the Finals.

2 of the 4 Bladers in the Finals had never made it that far before and they both placed!!

Zero-G!!!
1st place: geetster99
2nd place: *Ginga*
3rd place: 8kimchi
4th place: *Billy*

The next tournament is going to be sometime in mid-November on a Saturday, but we will need to keep an eye on the weather to see if it will be outside or inside. I'll keep you all posted.

See you all next month for more Zero-G!!!
