Autumn's Assault

Hi everyone! This is the official thread for our September tournament being held in the Mid-Atlantic's favorite Beyblade venue, Martin Luther King Jr. Park - on Sunday, September 23 in Silver Spring, MD.

In addition to using the Zero-G Attack and Defense stadiums for this tournament, we will also be using the new Zero-G Balance stadiums! With 1, 2 or 3 pockets the Maryland Blading community continues to move the metagame forward with Zero-G! Will we find an attack combo that can be safely used? Only time will tell!

.
Location: Map of MLK Park The closest address to put in your GPS is 1098 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904, but be sure to look at the satellite view of the map above for the actual location of the tournament which will be inside the pavilion (just above the basketball courts)

Registration: 11:00am - Noon Seriously, show up on time please!
Start time: Noon-thirty
Format: TBD depending on number of bladers
Stadiums: BBG-04 Attack, BBG-11 Defense, and BBG-18 Balance (Alternating rounds)
Surface: Concrete with blankets and cardboard
Fees: Standard WBO fees ($5 entry fee or free with a Blader Passport)
MFB Prizes: Zero-G beys and gear (TBD)

Please post to this thread if you plan to make it.

Anyways, Arupaeo, this tournament is 6 weeks after our last one. Why so far?

Well our last tournament was early like 2 weeks this sorta evens it out for the future 4 weeks 4 weeks.
Billy, our last tournament was exactly 4 weeks after The Triple Threat.
Sure didn't feel like it lol but I guess your right but my Parent actually complained about it being too earlier on the 12th and wanted it past that lol I guessed I'm just used to them being later in the month.

Aye good luck with this tournament guys Grin especially with Zero-G's metagame.!
Bummers, for most of fall Sundays won't work for me, but we'll see so put me down as an unlikely, but maybe
how r we going to rotate between the 3 staduims
Please add j317 and myself. We said if you had a tournament on a Sunday in September, we would come down from New York. I KEEP MY WORD!

Probably the same way as last time.
First round is Attack Beystadium, second round is Defense Beystadium, third round is Balance Beystadium, repeat stadium cycle.
i wish i could go only live 3 or 4 hours from there but i visit there for holidays have anything set up toward the end of november and i might show
Any chance this could be on Saturday vs. Sunday? I'm trying to bring 5 kids down from PA and Sundays are becoming a major challenge.
One Arupaeo sets dates, he doesn't change them. Sorry. Unhappy

Actually The Solstice Scimitar, The Triple Threat and LazyHazySwazy were all 3 weeks apart. Aside from having a tournament every month, sometimes schedules end up with tournaments closer together and sometimes further apart.

Not for this tournament, but sometimes tournaments are on Saturdays, so keep an eye out.
Im excited about this event for two reasons. First its because its my second Maryland tournament, and second i have a lot more good combos i would like to try in the Zero-G stadiums.
Hey Arupaeo, how much will the Zero-G string launchers be?

Put me down as maybe!
And i just have a question and it is:
Since its Zero G Stadiums? Or Are You Just Going To Use The Stadiums And Allow Us To Use 4d Beyblades , ,Metal Masters And Metal Fusion?

You should probably read the new Zero-G format, that would be the easier way to get your answer.
