We will meet and play at the Green X. The red dot 🔴 is just below the green X, which is location we can meet and register before our gazebo rental starts at 2:00PM.
PLEASE READ!!!
This is a WBO Burst Standard 5G event. The burst standard stadium will be used for the first stage, and the Burst DB stadium will be used for the finals stage. Please refer to the rulebook link below to review the game play rules for the event:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mbjw...Q-c9A/edit
We will also be implementing:
Unranked Experimental Ruling:
A Beyblade is knocked-out when it exits the stadium and does not return. Beyblades stuck on an element of a stadium are still considered in-play.
Beyblades that bounce back into the stadium after exiting the stadium are still considered in play.
And 5G rules:
1. Matches are to 3 points
Outspin = 1 Point
Knock Out = 2 Point
Burst = 2 Points
2. Deck Construction:
5 Beyblades
Each player constructs a deck consisting of 5 Beyblades and the player will use these 5 beyblades for the duration of the tournament. No parts may be repeated throughout each combination.
Up to one Layer with multiple spin direction capabilities may be included in the deck (ex. World Spriggan). Spin direction changes for Layers with multiple spin direction capabilities are permitted. If both players want to change spin directions at the same time, the change must be made in secret.
3. Deck Sequencing & Inspection
Each combination will be placed into one of the five numbered slots across 1-2 deck boxes, or some other concealment and ordering method.
We will have some deck boxes available to borrow at the event, but please bring your own if you have one.
The judge will then inspect both decks to ensure they are legal.
4. Perform Battles in Sequence
Players perform battles following the sequence of the Beyblades in their deck box until one player scores 3 total points. This means that the Beyblades in the #1 slot will play each other, followed by #2 vs #2, and #3 vs. #3, and so forth.
5. Draws
If there is a draw in any battle, the battle will be replayed using the same two Beyblades. This may continue for up to two consecutive battles. After the second consecutive draw, reference the "Consecutive Draws" ruling in the Gameplay Appendix of the WBO Burst Format Rulebook.
If a tenth total battle is played and a match winner has not yet been determined, reference the "Battle Limit" ruling in the Gameplay Appendix of the WBO Burst Format Rulebook. The same rule used for 3on3 will be applied for 5G.

2. Deck Construction:
5 Beyblades
Each player constructs a deck consisting of 5 Beyblades and the player will use these 5 beyblades for the duration of the tournament. No parts may be repeated throughout each combination. -> so, changing combos between rounds is not allowed? We have to use same 5 combos for the entire tournament even for first and final stages?
Up to one Layer with multiple spin direction capabilities may be included in the deck (ex. World Spriggan). Spin direction changes for Layers with multiple spin direction capabilities are permitted. If both players want to change spin directions at the same time, the change must be made in secret. -> what if, world spriggan and astral valkyrie and buster hyperion can be used in the same deck since world is the only one we can change spin direction.

Hello,
Yes, players are supposed to stay with the same 5 combos for the entire event. We are not going to lock the combos in a plastic bag like you see on papabey’s videos, but I expect everyone to honor this rule.
Yes, only one layer with spin change capability is allowed in one deck. Other dual spin layers using single spin chips are allowed in the same deck

I'm happy you are back doing beyblades again Virtuous
The forecast shows a decent chance of rain. The event will be cancelled/postponed if it rains. The gazebo does not provide adequate shelter from the rain.

Crossing my fingers it doesn't rain. Last time I was out here I missed 2 because it rained. Thanks for all you do.

As in if you were to have burst spriggan2 as your dual spin but use the achilles core on another combination? Papabeys videos show it without using 2 dual spin cores but I just want to make sure.
This is what is said in the OP
“Up to one Layer with multiple spin direction capabilities may be included in the deck”
If you achilles core is on Vanish, let’s say, it would not be dual spin capable. So yes, you would be able to run your Vanish Achilles along with your Burst Spriggan 2 in the same deck.
The event is inspired by rules papabey plays, but we are not doing things the exact same way. We are still using WBO rulebooks for the most part.
