This is a WBO Burst Standard Event.  We will be playing the WBO deck format to 5 points both in first stage and the finals.  The Burst Standard Stadium will be used for the entire event.  In this particular Deck Match Type experimental event, you must have 3 Beyblades in your deck to participate.  The event will conclude at 5:30PM PST regardless if we can finish all the matches or not.

Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following Ranked Clauses in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format Rulebook:

First Stage Points:
  • First Stage Matches are played to 5 points for this Tournament.

Decorated Parts Prohibition
Bladers may not use parts that have been decorated in the following ways for this Tournament:
  • Parts that have been painted/clear-coated unofficially.
  • Parts that have been decorated with unofficial/homemade stickers.

General notes about this tournament:

1. Battle Limit & Consecutive Draws for both 1st stage and the finals :
-All matches have a battle limit of 10 battles. If a tenth battle is played and one player has more points than the other, the player with more points wins the match. If the score is tied, the match continues and the first player to score wins the match.
-If a judge calls a second consecutive draw by outspin during the match, Each player selects a Beyblade they have not yet used from their deck to continue the match.  If the players exhaust all three Beyblades this way, each player will be then asked to select one of the three Beyblades in their original deck to continue with the match.

2. All matches are played to 5 points.  First stage and the finals

3. Bursts are 2 points, KOs are 2 points and Spin finish is 1 point.

4. The mode of any dual-spin Layer or Layer Base must be selected during the Beyblade Selection phase before submitting it to the judge for inspection.
After a combination has been submitted for inspection, the mode of a dual-spin part cannot be changed for the duration of the match.

5. A Beyblade is knocked-out when it exits the BeyStadium’s Battle Zone and cannot return, or makes contact with a foreign object in any area aside from the floor directly below an Over Zone. Beyblades stuck on an element of a BeyStadium’s Battle Zone are still considered in-play.
If a Beyblade exits the BeyStadium through the Launch Area of a stadium with a cover or shroud, the Beyblade will be considered knocked-out if it lands outside of the Play Area, or makes contact with a foreign object.

Hi Shin - we have a huge box of beyblades, some official, some not. I remember you had a couple of tricks to tell which were the official ones. Are you able to share those? Thanks!

Hope it helps
A card shop called Project CCG is nearby this park. It'd be convenient if they ever let us play in their store.

We will be at the baseball diamond, at the bleachers
