...Holy carp, yours is good. Good luck! Mine saved all scratchy, but w/e, what's done is done! Smile
I vote for ENTRY 2. It is better and has better flow, blend, but distracting text.

entry 1 has bad cuttings, and used a stock photo which isnt really blending well
Entry 2. The text in Entry 1 isn't really visible, and IMO the render doesn't match well with the background.
ENTRY 2
The first one is too blury, has a stock photo and hard-to-see text.
The second one has a good focal point, background made using brushes and clear text and image, as well as good cutting.

Btw, when is my battle going too be made? LOL. You did get my PM, did'ya?
Totally Entry 2 for the reasons everyone said: The first one's too blurry, and I see a few bad cut marks on the first one. Not that I'm any better, in fact, I'm looking for a good cutting tool anyways myself.
Entry 2 is has nice flow entry 1 is a bit blurry and has bad cutting
Entry 2 cutting is a bit noy too good in entry 1, Entry 1 is blurry and last of all i like the lighting of entry 2 better
true tell u guys truth both entries truly suck so i will not vote for anyone
Also shouldn't we make a pole to accompany this thread to make scoring easier?
No. Well, according to CRUelty, that can cause biased votes.
Entry 2 it is nicer and Entry 1 is not done very well unlike 2.

True , I like them neither. I will not vote because of them.

Then don't post?... It's called being logical.

EDIT: If you think they suck, then say why they're bad. It helps the participants become better. Plus, giving them ideas and showing them tutorial links would help them even more. If you're just going to say they suck without any constructive criticism, then like I said don't post and move on with your life.

Its extremely rude to blatantly state that both of them suck, how would you like it if we told you that? You should also state why they are bad or not post at all
Eventually saying the exact same CnC over and over again get's tiresome. Since everyone is doing all the same wrong things. JUST LEARN THE FFREAKING BASICS.
Sorry.

E1 : Learn the damn basics , you need to work more on the focal effects and the background. Its way too plain.
E2 : I don't like that smudging , its simple. Blend in your focal more. And use a better font next time.

I apologize if I am too rude.
Entry 2 it's more clear and the first looks smuged.
E2 because of the clear render and E1 is too blurry.
Oh, and btw what i the beyblade in the first entry?

Aero Knight MS

I challenge everyone who attacked the photo of Aero Knight to find and make a quality render of Aero Knight MS. It's a hell of a lot harder than it looks, and I don't own the blade. That was the best I could find.

Then why choose Aero Knight?
It had blended well with the background I had been making + there aren't too many good renders of HMS blades + out of ideas and started late hah.
Mmmm... Well, seeing you're new and are using photoshop, I'll try to help.

In terms of blending any render with any background, smusge that render as so there is a similar colour scheme.

If you don't wish to smudge, lighting, photo filters, C4Ds and gradient maps can help with blending when adding a render to a stock image.

Gradient Maps:Go to Layer>New adjustment layer>Gradient Map. Choose anything. i normally use purple to orange. Set to soft light. Change the opacity to 50% or less, on which gradient map is used and whatever looks good

Photo Filters:Go to Layer>New adjustment layer>Photo Filters. Choose any colour, preferably one similar to your render and BG. Set density to 25 or less.

Lighting:Go Filters>Render>Lightning adjustment (Something like that, can't remember the exact path). Choose Omni setting. Then go Layer>New adjustment layer>Curves. Mess with the curve untill you get something that fits

C4D's: Set to lighten or screen. Erase whatever doesn't look good

Hope this helped.
