My Flame Saggitario and Rock Leone came in today. Waiting for my BB-22 and Starter Leone to come in. Can't even recall why I bought the Leone Starter...but I did get a crazy cheap deal on it. haha

my RBV3 came today... Storm Saggitario 145 SD TT___TT storm is useful since i dont want to use my Quetz II, but 145 on the other hand has no value, esp since this is my second... SD doesn't compare to WB for defense, the sag clear wheel was orange and doesn't look that nice... so that thing was almost 60% unuseful to me...

Ooo, you have SD? I never really expected it to be great for Defense but I am interested to see how good a stamina bottom it is. As in, better than D, on par with it, or just worse.

i lack a stadium, so no way of checking... its star rating 1 3 3 so its theoretically neither as good as D nor B... respectively in stamina and defense.

EDIT brad: my main target of purchase this summer is the aries, since i desperately want it... so i couldn't spend too much money for this one, didn't find it as desirable as the clay aries for various reasons. Also, Plamoya listed bb-48 as Flame Libra T145ES, which i think i'll get as well... so i don't want to spend all my money on this random booster which had the rare blade in the type i'm less interested in (I was hoping for dark leone c145b)

Well there's your problem.
Never EVER base any opinion on star ratings. They're really meaningless, and shouldn't be looked at for any source of information.

SD is good part to have, as it should have comparable (or even better) stamina than D.

I dont really understand what could be the difference between D, SD, and WD. Its not like the sharpness of the tip that touches the stadium is any different, right?

how steep to cone is and how wide the cone is would affect the tips, i guess. don't think this is the right place to discuss this tho...

I think you mean WB. WD hasn't been released yet.

No, they are all different, they have different shapes, and some are wider or sharper than others, etc. They have different features which makes them all perform differently. D is wider and shorter than SD, which is taller and sharper than D. Though SD and D are still very similar. And WB is just just a wide ball tip. You can clearly see the difference of the 3 bottoms in these pictures...

Defense (D) bottom:
