As the tournament will start and check-in/registrations will end at 11:30AM please plan to arrive by 11:00AM. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue, late comers cannot be added after the tournament begins. We expect this tournament to take 2-3 hours, so bring water and snag an early lunch!
Rules Overview:
Bring 5 Pick 3 aka Locked List
-You may bring up to 5 beyblade combos into the tournament. You will pick 3 to compete in each match with.
-The 3 beyblades you choose for each match may not have any repeating parts.
Tip: Be careful in choosing the 5 you bring so that you don't have too many overlapping parts, this can make it hard to pick 3 with no repeating parts, give yourself some options.
- When your match is called you will present your 3 chosen beyblades to the judge, they will inspect them.
- Choose in secret the order of your 3 beyblades for the first set, they will stay in this order.
- Play the set of three.
If 5 points (Stage 1) or 7 points (Finals) haven't been awarded to either player after all 3 beyblades have been played, you may choose a different order in secret and continue playing until the required points have been achieved.
Please be advised that this tournament will make use of the following optional rules in addition to, or in place of, rules listed in the Format:
Own finish
- When you score an Xtreme finish or over finish against a Bey that did not touch your Bey during the battle, it is considered an own finish instead.
- When you score an own finish, you receive 1 point. Then, the battle is replayed.
- This optional rule can be applied to individual stages of the event.
Out-of-bounds over finish
- If the opposing Bey leaves the battle area through the launch area and becomes out-of-play, instead of voiding the battle, it will be considered as scoring an over finish.
Locked Bey list
- Before the start of each stage of the tournament, you must submit a Bey list to the tournament organizer.
- A Bey list is a written list of complete Bey combinations (e.g. DranBrave S6-60V). The number of Beys that can be included in the Bey list depends on the match type:
- During Bey selection, you may only select Beys from your Bey list for that stage of the tournament.
- Between sets during a best-of-3 match, you may select any Bey from your Bey list during Bey selection.
- Multiple copies of the same part can be included in a Bey list, but multiple copies of the same part cannot be selected during Bey selection.
