Obviously racism is not explicitly stated in the rules, but I would like to think you'd have enough sense not to post something like that in the first place. Clearly I was wrong.

Having said that, I think the rules are in need of revision and the staff are in need of a reminder that we are not above the rules either. :\

Sometimes I feel the mods here, and some of the members can be pretty harsh with their words, but considering that you banned Blader:Kenny however many times, then offered him a chance to return, and now banned Sega (one of the most annoying carp members) for ONLY three-days proves that this is one of the most forgiving forums ever (atleast that I've been too).

The only reason I didn't give Sega a permanent ban was because racism is not explicitly mentioned in our rules and because what he posted wasn't inherently racist, it was only insinuated.

Had there been a rule stated forbidding racism, he would be gone permanently.

I'm going to talk with Brad about this. We spoke a little bit about it a couple of days ago, but I think we as an administrative team need to get our act together and start setting an example and following it rather than doing whatever we want, rules be damned and then coming down on everyone else who doesn't follow the rules.

I think personally, that expanding and enforcing rules is most likely going to be necessity once the site starts to get more members. If not it'll turn into a hell-hole.
