Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

I'm in grade 10. And speaking of history, its the most off-topic class in the world. For one whole class, we just talked about Bill Gate's salary -______-

Doesn't he donate most of his salary?
@insomniac What is Bill Gates' salary? Well at least you learn something *cough* latin *cough*
I recently made the track team! Grin
Now I know what you're thinking.
No, I do not run.
I do shockput and discus.
I is the strongest on the team Cute

One time I was playing tether ball and a discus almost smashed me.
Congrats! Smile I plan to start conditioning myself for the track team soon. I'm tall, skinny, and I have pretty long legs, so I think I'd make a pretty good distance runner. The only problem is my stamina, which I plan to build up by running on my treadmill each day for a couple of months. That was the only thing keeping me from trying out last year; my overall figure is really ideal for running long distances.

To be honest, I'm better with discus than shockput. XD
Shockput hurts my fingers... And arms... And one time, my face...
And the rules are complicated. You can't hold it here or there. It has to be a certan way or you're disqualified. Which sucks. And is embarassing. Angry

Tall? You sound like you'd be good for long jump. But, hey. We're all different. My friend that's only about an inch or two taller than me is doing high jump. We call her spineless. XD
Congrats China!
I do middle distance, mostly.
I fail at the shock put.
Oh! Here's a random thought.
I used to be in a track club and I went to a meet every week.
I was really good, getting 1st and stuff.
Then some blond kid shows up and races me in the 200 and 600m
And he destroys me XD!
It was awesome, from the beginning he took the lead.
Then, on my last track meet, I destroy him in the 400m

Aaaaand, he's in my new school
I wiuz liek
At least put it in a spoiler, please. It's stretching the page.
lol My 1 year old sister sings "Gangnam Style" by PSY.
SO CARPING ADORABLE YO!

You might want to refrain from trolling the filters like that. It can get you warned.

He meant that you were bypassing the filters, which is frowned upon generally.

TRACK discussion
Speaking of track, I need to find out when sign-ups/tryouts are. I have absolutely terrible endurance, but I can sprint pretty well, limiting me to short-distance and relays. I tried out hurdles back in middle school, I just need to do it faster, to put it simply.

I apologize, it has been fixed
My parents just got a new computer for the basement to replace our artifact of a PC that no longer works. Our new one has, like, trillions of bytes, literally.

I can't stop listening to Lost in the Echo by Linkin Park right now. I don't know why. Unhappy It's stuck in my head and it won't leave!!! Angry
Ok, so I was on youtube looking up violin covers for random anime songs and then I was this video...

WARNING: This video may damage your brain for all eternity so watch with caution Smile

so mchu lol

I'm in my first year of Computer Programming, and we're about to start learning Java. We would've started sooner, but all of us freshmen were getting new laptops. The new computers didn't come in till last Wednesday (and school started over three weeks ago!), so we all had to wait awhile before we could start writing anything.

The Macbook Airs they got us are very nice and about a centimeter thick thin.
Very well worth the wait. Cute

I'm not a fan of the MacBook Air. Yeah, sure it's light and thin but I'd much rather have a MacBook Pro, since it just handles everything better, I guess you could say without getting too technical. But the MacBook Air is a Mac, so who could really complain anyways Tongue_out

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

They won't let us use our own laptops because the teacher is a control freak and she wants control over the computers so that she can monitor what we're doing and lock out our screens if she wants our attention.

EDIT: Well carpet, you guys getting all these expensive laptops and such. We have to use these. They're black though.

I swear our teacher is weird. She drew on whiskers on the mouses (mice?)
If it makes ya feel better, I'd love to use an antique computer like that! Tongue_out

That is strange. I'm sure Takasu would like it, though. Tongue_out_wink My mom is strange in the opposite way. She insists on putting clear wrap on the keyboards so that they don't get scratched. Chocked_2

I'm also taking a computer programming class this year. Thankfully, my dad is teaching it and not my crazy mother. I've only had about five classes, but I've learned a lot about HTML formatting, and a bit about Javascript, too! Grin

Oh, wow, that must really blow. :\
Our desks are facing the walls of the room, so the teacher always knows/sees what we're doing from his desk at the center. And there's only one girl in my class, so... Nope, actually, you're both still alone.

Oh, they're cool. I love the antique feel and the "hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" of it when it boots and all those random beeps. But, the keyboards are not so fun when the keys stick because of some ancient sticky things clogging them.
