No seriously, I hate this class. The only reason I'm in it is because some how despite the fact I registered for the school year early, and despite the fact my name is pretty high up the list alphabetically, I wasn't able to get in the course I wanted for that period. Apparently that course was full. So I tried to get into anything, heck, even parenting, apparently it's all full too. Which is total bs.

Acrylic project for my Theory and Development class. We take a shape and 'slice it' like bread, then arrange the pieces in an artistic fashion that shows fundamentals of design. Essentially, the class is meant to allow us to take a theory and develop it into a physical form!
Everyone did theirs out of pieces of cut foamcore. I said screw that stuff and went right to Corel Draw and the laser cutting machine. It's made from 1/4" acrylic and it will have an LED circuit inside the tube at its core when it is complete.
The laser cutter messed up some of the edges, but I didn't feel like going in with sandpaper and an alcohol torch to perfect them... I think it works alright.
Chemistry was fun, but extremely difficult for me in high school. Loved my teacher. As far as I know, she still wears a double helix bracelet I bought for her.

EDIT: While i was watching the news early this morning I saw the Battle Strikers TV Advert and all i did was laugh and then turned the tv off because i had to walk to school to hand in some work my teacher said i didn't hand in.. but when i got there they found it in the back of my folder (Idiots.
) so i had to walk all the way back home in 43 degree heat... FUN! not. XD

when i see a battle strikers ad i am reminded of how proud of him i am for achieving his dream at a young age and how lucky i am to be with someone as passionate about the things he's interested in as he is
