Hi! I swore I saw the date was 21st of January. Anyway to move it back to that date?

Hey Sage, you are correct that the date was originally the 21st of January. What probably ended up happening was that Shindog accidentally hosted a tournament in Alhambra on the 21st, which ended up taking most of our tournament competitors. The 28th works better just so more people will join, otherwise, we'd only have 2 or 3 people attending.
I also had to move to Jan 28th bc of the rain actually.  I am definitely it trying to compete for participants and I am perfectly happy with smaller events.  I don’t really think the issues is that we are having events on the same day.  Irvine and Alhambra is 35 miles from each other in potential LA traffic.   People should simply go to the event that is most convenient for them, or attend the format/rulesets they like the best.  The WBO removed the hosting in the same weekend rule for good reasons.

If anything is to said about the lower attendance, frankly it might be the “unranked” status.  Unranked just gets lower attendance historically.  People are enamored with these points you can’t eat.  This apparently holds true even when X ranking technical doesn’t event exist yet.  So even the potential of getting rank points matter I guess?

Ideally, I would like a Beyblade event to go to every weekend that is 30 mins drive from everyone who wants to play.

That’s alright that you moved yours, and I actually moved to the 28th because on the 21st something came up. I’m fine as well with less players if we happen to host on the same day. I’m fairly certain I don’t have something on the 28th but for this case I’ll move my event to the 4th of February so it works well for both the tournaments.
It will most likely be raining throughout his weekend but I wont be moving the tournament date or canceling unless something comes up. We will be under the shelter as usual so the rain shouldn’t affect the tournament very much.
About how long does the average tournament last?

Hi, sorry for the late response. The avg tournament lasts about 2-3 hours maybe a bit longer but for this one it shouldn’t take much longer since there’s less participants  l

Changed to Unranked due to lack of people

Challonge was not used for this tournament
