I do like the Metal Saga a lot more than Burst, but I think that Burst can be as good as peak Metal Saga. Burst Season 1 and God were a very big departure from the norm and a lot more of a slow burn. However, while it’s different and might not catch the same audience as the eta, Saga, I do vehemently believe it’s as good as the Metal Saga. However starting with Chozetsu, I don’t think it got bad as a whole, just wildly inconsistent.

Like, we followed up God with Chozetsu, which I still think is a mishandled mess. Then after that was GT which I felt was an amazing season that hit all of the same notes that Season 1 hit in new ways. Afterwards, Sparking and DB were both mixed bags, but in my opinion Sparking has a lot more good stuff than mediocre stuff, meanwhile DB has the opposite.

And then on the other side of the spectrum is the Manga, which never lost consistency and got even better over time. Oh well, at least one thing that was consistently nice was the animation. At its worst it was good, and at its best it was literally jaw dropping.

Also, on a side note, I find it funny how lots of diehard fans initially thought We Got The Spin was a tone deaf attempt of being “hip with the kids”. However, as it turns out, the non Bey laden audience actually loved it. I feel like we as a community really need to be more open ,indeed on those type of things.

Seeing anime's in 2023 like Jujutsu Kaisen S2 and One Piece in terms of animation has me excited for whats to come for Gen X. Obviously depending on the studio and the staff which play a big part on how animation and direction go, I can easily say we will see a new height in Beyblade's art and animation. Burst has already hit a peak animation wise so just expect Gen X's anime to be otherworldly in the storyboarding and animation factor.

Instead of MFB fans and Burst fans going on and off about who's series is better, I wish we all just agreed that Beyblade start to finish is peak. That would make the community grow a lot more instead of their being 3 individual Beyblade groups for each gen.

Oh yes, they sell it on Shogakukan Asia (and I think they at least send it to the US) and some othet official site, which name I forgot. I am only looking for Volume 15 to 20 though.
It's sad the german publisher for the MFB Manga didn't keep the license of it.

I went back and watched that battle and I'm honestly baffled at how Ifrit was able to survive 3 dynamite bombers without so effortlessly... I think the writers just gave her that win cuz she was still a new character tbh, we never saw her withstand an assault like that again and later on she got one shot by Lui and rungout by Ranzo pretty effortlessly(isn't it crazy that in DB RANZO of all people was able to score a point/win on Ilya which Bell never did?).

But to answer the question, I like Pri more(waaay more..)and think Pri would win over Ilya in battle. Even though she often comes up short with her plans, Pri's still shown herself to be a better strategist than Ilya whom just tries to get inside her opponents head to throw them off their game. yeaaa Bell vs Ilya in DB always bugged me. Why have him spam his finishing move 3x in a row if he was just gonna lose in the end? Personally I think Bell should have beaten her at least once before DB ended(same with Payne), but lemme stop before I go off topic. I like and enjoy Pri more than Ilya so far; tbh I don't think it's very fair to compare Pri with Ilya considering Ilya was a side character while Pri is like a major supporting character and therefore has a larger role in this season than Ilya had in DB. I also think Pri would win in battle; Pri has beaten Bel twice, bursted Xcalius(which Bel couldn't do), and has finally beaten her first legend. She's powerful and is starting to show that she can handle stronger opponents. Ilya only won her first two battles by herself before losing almost every battle she was apart of afterwards. So for me it's Pri.
