Like him getting over Wakiya. I know he did have growth like accepting Shu is gone and he needs to him back and stop sulking, but I don't know if he actually had a full on character arc.

Valt struggled with self doubt across the entire season, it's started with Wakiya during the district tournament, but he didn't finally overcome that till towards the end of the season. And in season 2 he struggled with finding his own path forward, everyone had all these different ideas of how to progress, he had to learn to find his own. He had to decide for himself what kind of blader he was going to be. All of this among other things.

As far the definition of a full character arc goes, I wouldn't count it as that. Aside from the Districts and the Team Nationals, Valt's character development has been scattered into bits all over the seasons (I suppose the God Bladers Cup counts but the focus on that was mainly split between him and Red Eye soooo eh).
Valt struggled some much with crippling self doubt through that first season, I felt bad watching him go through that, so often doubting himself and his ability. It was wonderful to see when he finally overcame that though. It was a long hard road getting there.

That's not really the case. But no matter what evidence I provide, no matter what I break down in the technical aspects of the writing, I don't think you'll accept it, and since according to you I'm twisting things even though everything I've stated is in the episodes, I'm therefore not interested in continuing this discussion with you. Have a good day though.

Well you did quite persaude me to give you quite a bunch of points. Well, if your not interested, be my guest to finish this. I never wanted another battle after the full-on war that ended some hours ago.

Technically four seasons if you count DB. The last time Valt used High Jump Shot was against Red Eye in God's finalé

Yeah it was amazing. High Jump shoot is very cool

Valt didn't really have to much did he? He had natural growth of becoming stronger, but I don't really remember any development outside of the District Tournament.

Sorry but I'll have to disagree Instarez. valt had a lot of development. I believe Admiral W probably stated ten whole essays on each of his development points lol

Let me answer that: Honestly, as things stand right now and with how early his debut is (like come on, even Lane came by Ep 14), I'm starting to think Rashad will be the mid-season antagonist AKA the consistent Rival character (think something like Xhaka or Delta).

Yeah. I'm sure that he kinda want to be like Valt but stronger but he don't know too much about DB system as Free in episode 9.

If this is part of your fanfic, you should post it there. This thread is not the correct place to post it, y'know.
Ok I feel like this needs to be addressed Valt Vs Lui the only reason Valt lost was because of that crack but the ref counts it as a burst I think that should be counted as I redo and before you say "What if the ref didn't know" the announcer literally announced it in front of the whole crowd and if the announcer can see from all the way up there then the ref can surely see it from right next to the stadium
Speaking of referees

Referees and every other adult maintaining these tournaments are either 1) super ignorant or 2) just full-on chill. Occasionally theres a near-supernatural-or-fully-supernatural occurrence (edit: or even obvious foul play, which they think its an accident!) during a Beybattle and they dont question it. Theyre super chill and totally not aware of the shady stuff during battles, aha

Genuinely surprised there isn't a Ref appreciation day in Burst, cuz they totally deserve it considering all the shenanigans they have to witness and go through.

because they are done with the carp these bladers give them
Someone maybe remember epic battles when in mind of bladers Drum try to touch Gwyn or brothers touch Lean. Now imagine if they do it when they battle. Also I agree. Refferi don't understand something. Like c'mon beys are very powerful, they crush stadium, fly, and do special gimmicks

Personally, I'd love to see a main cast member screaming their bey's name for plot armor Blader's Spirit/Resonance/Flare/whatever against a random nobody only for the ref to go: "You should've used your own strength, skill and strategy. Disqualified!" Just to flex his power. That'd be the day.

Even so it was an accident so the ref could have pointed it out

Then mislaunches causing losses should not count either. Those are accidents too.
It doesn't really matter in the end. Valt surpassed Lui some time ago.

That's very true. Too bad they have not faced off 1v1 yet after Evolution. Valt would beat him.

He sure would. Though I doubt we'll see such a battle, maybe we'll get a 1v1 between them in DB. Maybe in a title match.
Yup yup, but I would like to see Lui beat valt after s2, not that he can't anyways.
I wonder how ranzo is related to rantaro could be be like a cousin of a brother?

Well most of the tournaments are usually managed by rich people like Theodore or Wakiya lol so as long as they don't care nobody does.

Most likely a distant cousin of sorts.
