I guess I'll just explain it all from the start
He already made theories on hyper physics, he just put that into beyblade. Him being able to have a head start and making stuff is already a good improvement. Then he sees more beys and develops the actual tip. While making this tip he thinks of theories that branch of into strategies. After this makes his bey and after learning how to launch he battles a lot to get to connect with Genesis. doing so is another large improvement in power (and a reasonable one). Just a reminder Genesis itself without strategies and resonance is already very powerful. Anyways After crushing Drum he goes to hell and makes one of the theories that branched off a reality: the mugen lock system. Over time during the final battle he also makes stuff like the infinite sign shield as a result of making Hybrid have a perfect rotation. He gets to train at hell a lil then goes into the final battle. Over time he analyses from the sidelines. Having this current knowledge is a big jump as he'll be able to make theories to counter them at their current power level now, and after this there's no coming back to get stronger. Also a reasonable jump. then he also brings out his full power which we had never currently seen, That was reasonable cause we didn't know it, so his full power being well-powerful isn't a surprise.

We already know hes made strategy as a result of his theories. they dont have to show anyone just sitting around making a strategy, that's boring and a waste of time. Especially since Gwyn does a ton of insane math, we would just be seeing him write a ton of stuff down that we cant understand.
But we do have to see it if the power creep is to be justified. If not, then we're left to assume because there's no proof that he did it. Even if they just stated it, then that would make sense, but they don't even state he came up with strategies before hand.

What I said was that he had already made studies on hyper physics, so he could just apply them to beyblade as well as change and upgrade them. And those theories branched off into different strategies like making Hybrid have a perfect spin for the shield.
So your saying it was his bey that made him skyrocket and surpass Drum and Delta? Because the only thing we saw him really apply hyper physics to was creating Genesis.
No, you missed the point.
1. There is proof hes done it. In the episode where Drum meets Gwyn its showed that he had been developing theories and stuff for a while.
2.No it wasnt hyper physics. Hyperphysics made his current theories, those branched off to create strategies to help him be strong. He also kept growing his resonance over time.
