Seems like a mix of the battleship cruise (in terms of how utterly random the battles are) and the god bladers cup. There probably will be a quarter semi and finals but we can’t be sure.

I think the legends festival will be cool, but certainly over hyped. I'm not saying the battles will be underwhelming, but I doubt they'll all be consistently god tier like the god bladers cup, reminder this is just a simple mid series tournament. However I do hope the battles they present are interesting enough, some previous arcs didnt really give me a reason to keep watching tbh.

I am extremely hyped for the next manga chapter though.

we see the conclusion of hikaru and hyuga vs lane, and most likely either drum or tempest or just skip straight to the start of the legends festival. And the manga is just good in general. We might see Shu, but I'd wait till the September or October chapters for World.

Lucifer is knocked out the ring and Lane is made, so they have round 2. During this Hyperion is knocked out and Helios destroyed. So Hikaru and devastated and Lane goes back to the Red BUlls, where he breaks some more beys. Shu steps in and Lane is angry, but can't disobey him so he stops breaking beys and chills. Hyuga is trying to cheer Hikaru up but its not working, and Hikaru thinks his dream will be over. Hikaru worked so hard to get there and hes extremely sad, but Drum comes by to get some food and sees Hikaru. He was in a similar situation so he and Hyuga decide to have a battle to cheer Hikaru up, and it works. We also get to see Tempest. Anyways Hikaru cant do anything, but is now more back in the zone and decides to support Hyuga on his dream, which at the moment is winning the festival.

The first matches happen at the festival. We see a classic rematch between Valt and Free where Valt wins, and a battle royale featuring Hyuga,Drum,Silas,Lane and Lui. Hyuga loses but he's not out of the whole thing, so he remains in high spirits. . Anyways Hikaru is struggling to repair his bey and decides to clear his mind by going on a un. He coincidentally runs on the classic path near the hill where Valt trained in season 1, and ended up running into Shu, who has a new Spriggan with him. Shu talks with Hikaru and lets him see World Spriggan in action.Hikaru is inspired by its left spin motions and Shu gives him an idea on how to upgrade Helios. Hikaru returns home and sees Hyuga. Hyuga is very excited that Hikaru is in more high spirits and they just chill for the rest of the day.
