Tournament Registration: 11AM
Tournament Start: 12:30PM

The sides have yet to be determined. North Carolina Bladers, this is your chance to not only prove you would be a worthy addition to any Bladers team at Team BeyBattle Revolution @ ANIME NORTH 15 , but to also earn paid travel expenses (if necessary), along with an AN Pass to attend the event and all of the festivities over the weekend!

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on all Qualifier Series tournaments, regardless of whether or not a participant has a Blader Passport (if you wish to purchase a Blader Passport, the total cost would be $15 at a Qualifier Series tournament), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

What can I win?
The winner of this qualifier will receive the following: Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto, but we will work closely with each of you to make sure that you find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs. We can also reimburse gas costs, but in that case, reimbursement will only take place in person after we have received gas receipts.

Dark_Mousy thanks for helping me out with that profile trouble first of all, and hopefully I explained everything correctly to my parents so I should be there

Glad to have you back.

OP has been updated with the new start time ETC. Also a word of warning. In the past we had some issues with thievery. If anything starts to disappear we will pause the event and check the cameras at GT. If you are caught stealing you will be BANNED from Game Theory, the World Beyblade Organization and Ill make sure you get banned from every game store in North Carolina and Virginia.

Also make sure you get there on time. If you get there after 12:30pm you will not be allowed to played.
I should be there by 11:45. Smallfry cant go. He's sick and he's got homework to do...
Hey you can put me down as a maybe
@[Dark_Mousy], I'm running about 10 minutes late; if you guys are really pressed for time, you can just postpone my matches as; if I'm not there by the time you need me to play, just go ahead without me.

But try to save a slot for me if you can. Pretty please!
So how'd it go, big shots?
Who are the placers
Results are in

1st: geetster99 (
2nd: Dark_Mousy
3rd: Titan Tite
Congrats to placers. I had fun during the tournament and fun judging the final matches.
Congrats to the placers
Mah boy geese. I actually wanted him to win there.
I didn't do too bad for being away for a while, did make a few mistakes that cost me, but I'm pleased with how I did. Of course I wish I did better, but how I did is to be expected of someone who's been away
Fees and Results will be submitted tomorrow. Didn't have a chance to get to the bank before work.
I actually have no idea what happened to this qualifier's video of the finals and whether a proper final, ultimate battle was done between the top two to adhere to the special qualifier rules, but all in all this tournament did follow a good format, so the results have been processed and the Credits and Faces have been awarded.

We might want to clear up who has the video and when it will be sent/it was sent ...
I have the video @[Kai-V]; was the results of the special final not include in the results that were submitted? Also, @[Dark_Mousy], did you ever post the full combo list in the Winning Combinations thread after AN?
Well, I suppose it could always be deduced since it only involves two people, but it would have been nice to include it in the results.
Yeah, absolutely. It should have been.
If I remember correctly, instead of doing an ultimate final battle after the normal finals, Dark and geetster just played three normal matches with the best two out of three being the winner. Geetster won 2-0 though so functionally it was the same as you described. I'm not sure of the exact order but I know in one of the battles it was a Burn Cancer 85MF mirror match and the other was Burn Cancer 85MF (Dark's) vs. MF-H Duo Cancer 230MB (geetster's).
^@[Dark_Mousy]'s Burn combo had a Metal Face.

But didn't @[geetster99] use the same Burn staller in both battles? I can't say for certain, but I do remember that Dark or someone else took pictures of the combos they used with their usernames behind them.

Oh, it must have been the Cyber Pegasus Metal Face then because he was using a red Cancer and they color coordinate. I do remember geetster used the MF-F from the BB-96 too, but that's pretty much the same thing as a normal Face.

Maybe I do have it backwards, and Dark used the Duo combo, but that seems unlikely for two reasons: 1) Dark was looking to buy a Hasbro Duo throughout the tournament and afterwards, meaning he didn't have one himself (he could have borrowed someone's, I know at least Tite had a Duo), and 2) while I can't confirm this now I'm pretty sure Duo 230MB shuts Burn 85MF down consistently, and since geetster won he was probably the one who used the Duo combo.
Geetster99 won all 3 matches. He won game 1 (3-1), game 2 (3-0) and game 3 (3-0). He used MF-F Burn Cancer 85 MF while Dark_Mousy used MF Burn Canced 90 MF in game 1, Duo Cancer 230 D in game 2 and MF Burn Cancer 90 MF in game 3. Hopefully this clears stuff up a bit.
Ya'll are correct about my burn combo using a MF. Sorry for just seeing this. Ive been at work all day. But everything should be correct now IIRC.

I honestly thought I did. My apologies. Ill make sure they are there from now on.
Yup, I can confirm that geetster99 won all three BeyBattles, @[Kai-V]. @[Dark_Mousy], when you re-submit the results using the new spreadsheet template, please make sure to include these. Thanks!
This is all good then; everything is processed, let me know if there are any errors.
