For the new year, we're starting off with a classic Metal Fight tournament! Let's get ready to start a new beginning of Beyblade!
DJ - Yeah!

WHAT ARE TOURNAMENTS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

The WBO is a community in where thousands of Bladers all around the world host and join in tournaments! Just simply show up at the desired time and location, bring your $5 fee (if you have a Blader's passport, this isn't necessary), register for an account (if you already have one, no need!) and wait until the host goes over the rules and starts the tournament. Free-play will be available so feel free to practice and warm up for the heated competition! Accounts are needed so you can officially get ranked, possibly earn Bit Boosters and earn credits after a processed event! We are all friendly and here to have fun, so don't hestitate if you have any questions!

WHAT BEYBLADES DO I USE?

This is a Metal Fight tournament. Beyblades from the Metal Saga era, such as Metal Fusion, Masters and Fury and as well as Zero-G, are allowed!

CONTACTING ME

Please email me at: thegraywolf32@gmail.com if you have any questions!

We will be using BB-10s!

FOOD
Please bring your own food! As for water, there's water fountains inside the community center.

(Jan. 07, 2017  3:48 PM)Tboss Wrote: what does ranked mean
Bladers participating in tournaments get ranked, when you win or lose in matches. For instance, you always start off with 1000 Beypoints. With the more matches you win, the more points you gain. When you lose matches, you stay at 1000 Beypoints. If your Beypoints are more than that, it decreases. If you have a higher rank/more Beypoints and lose to a Blader with a low rank, you lose more points. Bladers with more Beypoints are ranked higher. I hope this seemed understandable haha.
This is my first tournament so wish me and basalt horroglem good luck we probably need it

No haha. Basalt is banned in Limited. Not in Standard.

Haha welcome! You'll have a great time. Smile
UPDATE: Since we have about four days left, who's excited?! Got the Triple Booster Set 2 weeks ago and still waiting on the rest of the prizes this week! The attendee list seems great so far! I'm at least expecting 14-17 players.

Also even though obviously it's gonna be hot, it also might be chilly so bring a jacket for yourselves!

REMINDER: Don't forget your $5 fee! You can also pay for a Blader's Passport for $15 to participate in tournaments all year long!

See you guys there! :) If any questions, feel free to contact me!

Me! Im Super Excited!!!!! Grin I Will BE In 1st Place!
UPDATE: So it's tomorrow! Please meet me @11:00 am, at where there are two tables behind the community center. There is parking provided to the right of the center. Right at the entrance, there's a sidewalk to the left that leads to the playground outside and to the right you'll immediately see the two tables and me on the laptop (lol). I will be waiting until I get all of my participants and will not start until I do so. For participants who will be late, you NEED to let me know. Please try not to come as late though, as this will delay the process of this event. If you come very late, you won't be able to attend the event.
Participants who will leave early, be aware that you will no longer be in the event if you do leave. That means you will not get Bit Boosters (and I believe other things). I would highly recommend for you to stay throughout the whole duration of the event. However, if it is necessary, don't worry! I completely understand and I hope you can attend the next event.

There is plenty of space for all of us so we will be playing on the floor and I will be providing rubber mats for the stadiums. As for water, there is water inside the center but l encourage you to bring snacks/beverages!

Freeplay will be available, during registration.

As for borrowing Beys and parts, please be aware that at my last tournament, people were mixing and getting my parts while I was busy. This resulted in one of my parts being broken so I would need for Bladers who need to borrow parts ask for permission and MAKE sure everything goes back to the right person and place. Please be kind to others as much as possible.

The tournament will hopefully go for around 2-3 hours as I have a method that will speed the event up. Other than that, I'm also letting you guys know, my mom is selling 25 pairs of light up roller skates for $15 each. If you're interested, bring cash.

Last reminder! REMEMBER to bring your $5 fee or else you won't be able to participate! A Blader's Passport is $15 a year, which I encourage you to get, if you're willing to participate in events often!

Thank you for reading and let's have a blast tomorrow! :D
More Excited!!! Grin
NEW UPDATE!

I'm selling a NIB Beyblade Legends Galaxy Pegasus for $15 plus a Red Rubber Grip for $8! Bring cash for those if you are interested.
I Might Buy The Red Rubber Grip Because I Need one XD I bought in December But it Didn't Came Unhappy
Update: We now have seven people and we have moved to Pavilion B due to rain. Please contact me if you're going to be late.
I Left My Launcher...Unhappy
Report:

Today was pretty crazy nevertheless..
But it was okay!

First, we all met at the desired location and 7 people arrived. I got their fees and soon, I got the spreadsheet up and got them on the list. Soon after, light rain started to pour. So we moved to Pavilion B for now and I waited for a while for a 8th person to come, which was my brother. After he came, rain poured 5 times in a row. My laptop got wet, alongside with my other equipment. It got delayed due to weather and to my brother coming quite a bit late. We ate pizza as well and started the tournament. It lasted 4 hours and as we tried out the Deck Format for the finals, it was pretty good! I was also trying to get the hang of replays and such, but it was all taken control of. Griffen, as usual, was left unbeaten throughout Round Robin (excluding the finals). I got 6 wins and 3 losses. Surprisely, DWiz won with mostly his Phantom Orion B:D! Reznor Blaze did amazing with his Death Orion combo and DanielGameRoom surprised us, who was left unbeaten during his first 3 battles, with a Scythe Pegasus stamina combo! Skysurfer5 did well too! With his Scynchrome combos, he blasted away his opponents with a tall Revizer Revizer combo which had lots of recoil. Pokelove did awesome as well, with his Basalt Horogium B:D. I just know he tried his best. :D My TH170 actually broke in mid-battle including a MSF-H (crazy huh? And of course I did a rematch and time to buy new parts haha). Reznor and I wrote down the results in real-time on paper and on Challonge, using my phone and laptop as well. For the finals, DWiz came in first, Griffen in second and me in third. At the end, I gave out the prizes. I also turned out my surveys to the new participants and we got feedback about tournament time and to quicken it quite a bit. (I will definitely be improving my tournaments, however, we may need more judges)
The tournament was fun but was quite a bit stressful. What was the most important part was that everyone had fun and it turned out well, we got all the results down and we followed every rule and the formats.

Congrats to @[DanielGameRoom] for being recruited to Star Strikers! Welcome. :)

I will be posting the spreadsheet, winners' combos and pictures as well (plus a video maybe).
Here's the list of participants! Got the fees and will be sending it tomorrow and the spreadsheet & video will be submitted soon. (the video won't make it though, haha ;-; )
