Why must we pay entry fee for tournaments? Are they for Prizes? Some people think that they waste money if they lose
Questions about the WBO

The entry fee and Blader Passports were introduced because this site otherwise generated no revenue at all, and Brad had to pay for everything with the money from his own pocket. Even now, you really cannot expect us to pay for the monthly hosting and other fees by ourselves, it is just not fair. Plus, paying ensures that you are really committed to playing and it allows you to get Beypoints; in the past, anybody could battle for Beypoints, and we got a lot of cheating because of that. However, nobody wants to do the effort to cheat if it costs something.
Besides that, yes we can try to reimburse some or all of the costs associated with the tournament using the money collected at the event itself, but that should be discussed between the tournament organiser, Kei and me before the date of the event. We currently do not have any pool of prizes tournament organisers can choose from, and frankly we never did anyway ...
With any extra we have, we get super cool Beyblades for special giveaways, as well as other things related to the site.
What you must know is that every money this organisation gets goes right back to the community in different ways, hence why we are a non-profit organisation.
Hey, is it true theres a plugin in myBB 1.6 that lets mods see our PMs, and do we have it enabled?
Mc Snow,
Yes
Yes
Hm, we have not upgraded to MyBB 1.6 and we might never, therefore this is not related to this website ...

I was wandering if Credits are Still Happening?
I havent heard anything about them and I Assume that they have stopped but I am looking for Confirmation.
Thanks.
Yes, almost all of the prizes are still not taken, and we have just started getting members with around twenty Credits. Someone has even claimed one of the Quetzalcoatl already.

However, before the tournament we can discuss what prizes you will get, in proportion with how many participants will come, because we can reimburse some or all of the costs related to the event after it happened, using the money collected from the entry fees and the Blader Passports. You have to understand, though, that we will always look for a certain part to remain sent to our Paypal account since we obviously need to continue paying for maintenance and other technical or cool things.
Plasma Apples Wrote:Yet I have never posted in that topic.... At least not that I remember... If it was erased, would it still show up on my posts? You posted a link to a picture of Inferno Sagittario, while I think you had to contact a staff member and ask them to reopen the actual Inferno Sagittario topic that we had. All posts commenting on it were also removed, as such discussion should always take place in the thread for the Beyblade if there is one.
EDIT: Just checked thread. If my post was erased, would the topic still be marked like I posted in itwith the black dot? There is no black dot right now for me.

Your Credits are found on your profile. A Moderator will distribute Credits after the results are processed for each tournament.
How do you make a Thread?
First post not important, where do you make a tournament?

Earlier I tried attaching a photo file straight from my PC to one of my posts in Random Thoughts 4 because I was too lazy to upload it to Photobucket. I didn't make the post though because there was no longer the little thingy for attaching files to your posts.
Did we remove this feature? When did that happen? I'm guessing it was because so many newbs kept attaching stuff to every post they made instead of making it their Signature...

I remember Kai-V saying they removed it to block the recent spammer we just had, that rup123 dude.

Wherever you want ...
Also, we found that visitors of the Internet should learn about hosting images online sooner or later anyway, therefore that is another factor that helped us decide to disable attachments altogether.

Alteast it got rid of that annoying SPAMmer... Not to mention it got newbies to stop attaching photo's like a signature every time they posted...
I guess I better stop being lazy when I want to show everybody an Amazing/Interesting ScreenCap.
Also...
Kai-V, You spelled Altogether wrong. You spelled it "Altogehter."
I have no idea what a "Gehter" is. But, apparently it is an instrument since it can be an Alto... XD (jk)
How to get a Signature? The picture one.

If so. I want a Beyblade signature, how do I make one?

Using a photo-editing program ... Obviously that does not belong here as it has nothing to do with the World Beyblade Organization.
