Questions about the WBO

Thanks Kai-V. I was just asking because my brother and I both like to use the same bey and both want to use it in the tourney tomorrow
Just referred a friend to the site. His name is Zhadow. Do I get anything for referring him because it asked at the sign up page if anyone referred you?
If he said that you did then it will say on your profile,
example: Members reffered: 1
that's what it should say now, I think you get a face for reffering 5 people? Correct me if I am wrong, but I know you get a face eventually if you keep it up.
Yeah I was thinking a face but didn't know how many people you needed to refer. Would making people sign up for WBO at the tourney spot count as referring or not?
No. and there is nothing to proove that you did. You will just be making a contribution to the site that will probably not be repaid to you personally.
But it's always nice to help out!
And because the WBO is a non-profit organisation, I'm assuming all the money that they make goes into sustaining and strengthening the WBO.
SO it's really great when people help out--and tournaments are cheap fconsidering how fun they are.
Thanks. Yeah, tournaments are a fun way to help out the WBO.
Yep. There also used to be a thing where you get a face by making a random money contribution to the WBO, but then they stopped that--probably cuz it was unfair.

...you still get a Face Booster BLACK if you donate $10 after already having a passport...

...and I have six faces under my avatar to prove it.
You can get referrals counted from people signing up for/at tournaments if they sign up with your name in the referrer box, but the 5 people you refer must be at least a little active to count.

And Luck, please, leave question answering to people who actually have a clue what they're talking about. Incorrect/"but I'm not sure" answers don't help anyone.
What are all the ways to get face boosters, and what does it mean to (and how do you) trade faces.
The methods of getting Face Boosters are outlined in at least fifty posts, and there is even a thread explaining Face Trading with Face Trading in the name of it.

Please search.
If this is off topic, pls mention it, I wont post questions like this again
how was the wbo some 1 year after bakuten shoot beyblade ended and beys stopped coming, and MFB was not announced?

How it was ? A determined group of Bladers kept the hobby alive, some tournaments were held here and there, mostly in Canada and New York, and work on Beywiki was started, which is when most of the HMS and plastic articles were added.
If this is in the wrong spot, please direct me to the right topic.

I wanted to treat myself for my birthday, so i wanted a new stadium.
I saw this and I thought this would be good. Is it legal or tournaments or not?

Also, I wanna double check this is a BB-10
Thanks!
Milkâ„¢

The stadium is legal, and the second one is a BB-10.
Both of them are the same thing, by the way. Instead of product codes, just refer to it as the Attack Type BeyStadium/BeyStadium Attack Type, hah.
Is it safe to assume you guys are in favour of Takara Tomy?

I am in favor of enjoyable, legitimate products.

One company making more of them than another doesn't put that company in higher standing with me, either - it puts each individual product in whatever standing that product belongs in.

Brand favoritism is idiotic.

That said, the majority of what we use is TT(including a large portion of our rules/what we base them and part legality upon), simply by mechanism of typically being more balanced toward competitive play. Should this dynamic ever shift into Hasbro's favor, or Sono Kong's, I will personally be a thorn in the eyesockets of the rest of The Committee if they decide to ignore it based on brands.
...and is directing people to proper threads considered "mini-modding"?
No.

Mini-modding is trying to verbally reprimand people for things. It is mostly about the tone taken when doing it.
Press the help section at the bottom of the screen and all yo problems will be solved. Except, you won't actually get one when you look there, haha.
Before a tournament do they check to see if your parts are legal?
Not usually. If your area has a record of people using fakes, it could be understandable, but most places have no problem, so there isn't really any need to check.
It depends--not at any I've been to.
But don't get any ideas Wink
