Questions about the WBO

It's funny how a simple font change can give you a different reputation, haha.

Hello all,

Having some issues using the user to user message system. Getting a 404 error message whenever I try, and am trying to line up some transactions between other users but cant reply to them. Also I dont think I ever received a account activation email. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hm, you should not be getting a 404 error, but a 500 Internal Server Error. If the latter is true, then it is due to our new server's configurations : some Members have way too many private messages, like me, so it is a huge task for the system to sort through them. It also causes issues when trying to reply to someone who has such a huge inbox, but this can usually be avoided by simply composing a new private message to them, instead of clicking on "Reply".

You are able to post, so your account probably got activated automatically; we only enable the email activation in certain periods, notably when we try to block waves of SPAM bots.

Hello,

Thanks for getting back to me, you were right it was a 500, but I have tried the comprise whole new message route, as well as simply replying and keep getting this exact message:

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@worldbeyblade.org to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

I find it quite odd but with what you've told me about the new settings I can see where it might cause problems.

Thanks

It is very weird that you would keep getting this error regardless of the method you use ... By any chance, could I know the username of one of the people you are trying to contact ? I doubt they somehow have more private messages than I do, but if they have a very small inbox, that is even odder ...

Sure I'm trying to contact: taxus and BeyderAndy . Also I have tried just random users and still get the message.

Thanks
I'm getting the exact same thing, no matter what method I use. Trying to contact DaSacredKnee.
first time 500 error

Absolutely, no problem. I will send you a private message right away with at least my email address so that if you are still unable to send anything via our private messaging system, you will have that option.
So there aren't any issues ( Tongue_out ) like there were around this time last year, do winners of Qualifiers need to post their combinations?

I plan on posting the Winning Combos today, so figured I'd ask.
For now, I suppose that no, they should be kept secret for the top winner/qualified champion, unless of course they do not mind revealing what they used. There should be no problem posting the other winning customizations for now though.
Excuse my dumb question, but why are the administrators and moderators here so amazingly chill? Yeah I know, noob question. Then again, given my activity, im at that level again.

Because it's a small community with great members who are also pretty chill. Smile

Because there's no reason for them not to be. They've had enough experience with noobs to know who's a threat and who just needs to read the rules. Most of the younger kids get off to a rough start but pick up forum etiquette rather quickly, so it's not necessary to call them out and humiliate them like mods on other forums occasionally do.
I don't plan on hosting or going to an event anytime soon, but this scenario just popped into my head; say you have two events in one day. If you pay the $10 for a blader passport at the first event, would you have to pay the $5 for the next event since you technically do not have your passport yet?

I would think you do have a passport. Even though it isn't registered yet, the tournament isn't either, so I would say you do have a Blader Passport (well, as long as the host pays)

Even though one would technically not have the face yet, they did pay the required fee for the passport and it does start running for a year the day of, regardless of the time the face is given out, so no, I don't believe that another extra five dollars would be necessary.
Just to confirm, as soon as you give ten dollars at once, then you have purchased a Blader Passport.
Why was there no April fools prank. Except for maybe s few small ones. But there was no mass scale prank. You could've gotten all the we'll known bladers and convince everyone that the next series was being released soon. Why no prank?

With the hiatus being the way it is at the moment, that would just be too cruel of a joke, haha.
No spoilers for next year... Eee
Let us all take a moment to remember the original dub name for Metal Fight Beyblade ... BEYBLADE: STEEL SQUAD!
