Purchase Consultation (MFB + Burst)

I would say buy a BB-10 (it should be one of the very first things, if you can get it), but what beys do you already have? I'd probably be getting the BB-10 (or a set that contains it) over anything, though.
In that case, get BB-10. Smile
Keep SBS for later.
BB-10 is the most important requirement for every blader.
EDIT- Holla, th!nk!
Time for assumptions- He might have good beys IMO. Even if he doesn't its better to keep beys for later. What will he play/test in without a legal stadium? Grin
Galaxy pegasus, meteo l-drago, lightning l-drago, inferno saggitario, hell kerbecs and hyper aquario.
Hm. Those are quite decent.
Though not the best...
I would still say BB-10. Smile
If you are sure that you'll buy SBS soon after, then great.
If not, then.....
But i have a problem...
I live in Europe and can't order things from America.
So i can only get the bb-41.
Should i buy that??
Personally, BB-41 isn't my primary choice, particularly because it has a tornado ridge, which is the flat part in the middle. I wouldn't get that. If ever you get a chance to get a BB-10, get it. It is the most balanced stadium for MFB to date.
And if I can't get the bb-10 what stadium should I buy?
Can you get one of the sets that contains a BB-10? Like, the BB-107 Big Bang Pegasus DX Set? That would be best, the BB-10 is the best stadium for MFB, hands down.

If not, can you get the SonoKong Triple Battle Type Stadium? That is the next best thing after BB-10. It can be seen in This Video.

And no, don't get the BB-41, it is not a legal stadium for WBO use. Ryu13 should have pointed that out Speechless
Yes, sorry. I forgot to point that out; thank you for reminding me, th!nk.

Edit: Yes, do try to get the BB-10 stadium. That is the main stadium used in the WBO, and the only set that I know that has a BB-10 included is the BB-107 Big Bang Pegasis DX set. It may be expensive, but it comes with some other useful stuff, like a launcher grip, and obviously, the BB-10, which is what you're mainly after.

Note: the BB-10 included with it is black, not clear.
I can't get those stadiums in Europe without ordering them across the seas Unhappy
What Hasbro stadium should I buy?
All are equally bad. If you really wanted one to do tests in, you could get the Max Stampede Stadium.
Isn't the Max Stampede the same as the pegasus thunder whip?

They are not all the same, and you should not be saying this.

They have different angles and dimensions.

Max Stampede without craters is the best, followed by Lightning Force. Max stampede with craters is not worthwhile.

Honestly, none of the hasbro stadiums are any good, even the two best.
Then should i just use the triple battle set stadium from hasbro until the bb-10 is released in Europe?
I doubt the BB-10 will be released in Europe, normally the only way to get them is importing from Japan or whatever.

But yes, I would not bother buying a new hasbro stadium, just buy some beys so you can do well at tournies, so yeah, strongest blader set.
Hi guys

I did not find anything related in the search function, but maybe it's because my mind is spinning already as well - I'm doing research for this Beyblade thing for days now...

I'm a father and did not even know that Beyblades are existing until a few days ago. Now I really would like to get this stuff for my kids for Christmas. But I don't want them to be disapointed, so I need to get the right things.

After my first euphoria about all the cheap offers at eBay & co. I learned already, that there are many imitations and not worth to be bought.

But since this stuff is very expensive, I think I'd better ask you experts what I should buy.

Can you help me? I'm completele confused after reading all the stuff....

What would a "fat" starter set for four kids include? Do I have to get those 4D blades? Which ones? How many? Attackers, defender? What kind of arena or stadium? Do it also need a Guidebook (I can only find it in Japanese)?

Are there any "sets" available you could recommend?

Well, sorry for this beginner questions, but you'll make the kids very happy with your input - so thanks a lot!!!

Wolfgang
Is the one set for each child or is it one set between them. If for each child, I'd recommend the Strongest Blader Set. If to share, I'm not really certain of any sets that come with four BeyBlades with them. Unless you want Hasbro, and you could get the Gan Gan Galaxy Gift Set. I'll try to find a set with four BeyBlades.

You don't need a guide, they just need to know how to pull a string. Also, I wouldn't recommend 4D BeyBlades if they are young as it can become a little bit confusing. I would recommend Metal Fight/Fusion or Metal Fight Explosion/Masters.

You would probably be better off to get the Tripple Battle Stadium from Takara Tomy if there are four of them as then it would be easier to play.

I would recommend VariAres, Phantom Orion (might be a bit boring if they are young), Blitz Uncorno, Basalt Horogium and Galaxy Pegasus.

I hope I helped!
In other words, condensing what Aura said, a competitive starter kit for any blader would be the BB-76 Galaxy Pegasis DX Set, BB-117 Strongest Blader Set, BB-114 VariAres D:D and BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D. Some extra options include BB-119 Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF, BB-99 Hell Kerbecs BD145DS, the Phantom Orion and Big Bang Pegasis parts set and BB-121 Ultimate DX Set.
Hi Aura

Wow, thanks for this answer!

My vision was to get one HUGE set for all of them.

What I don't understand is, if I would buy four or eight blades, wouldn't it be boring after a short while, as soon as it's clear which blade is stronger than the other one? Where's the thrill then?

I think a set would be a good idea, but I listen to whatever you tell me :-)

If it's not too expensive I even might probably get a set with more than four blades, but what I heard it should be the original and not a imitation cause of quality issues.

Sorry for the newbie question: why are 4D confusing? And if they ever play against other kids, won't they be in trouble WITHOUT the new 4D blades?

THANKS!!
The fun in Beyblade is that though one may be more powerful than the other, there is always the chance of luck. Plus, the option of customization is available, and I recommended the Galaxy Pegasis DX Set as a must have because you can get the R2F bottom and the most balanced stadium, allowing all types an equal chance of winning.

Unfortunately, there's no huge set, otherwise we would all get it and it'd be sold out by now. Wink lol.

4D could possibly be considered confusing due to the MWs. Each MW has a mode change of sorts, and the multiple modes (For example, Big Bang Pegasis has 4 modes, VariAres when factoring in spin direction, automatic mode change and bottom change has 12 modes, etc.), and memorizing which mode is better/knowing which mode is which can be confusing. However, the other kids could easily lose if your kids customize properly and know how to use the 4D blades, but like I said, luck and the stadium play huge factors. Not to mention that the launch matters as well. The blades I suggested as must haves, along with the options come with a variety of launchers like the Beylauncher, Light Launcher (Ripcord one) II, and Light Launcher L/R (capable of both spin directions, same mechanics as Light Launcher II). The options also have the Beylauncher LR available, which is a string shooter that can spin in both directions.

Pretty much, the products I outlined as must-haves and extra options for later on in buying are the basis of Beyblade where it stands right now, so I recommend you buy some of those before anything else. Have fun blading! Smile

EDIT: Oh, reading your original thread, as for instructions, as I've learned from my TT blades and HMS from Japan, the pictures are descriptive enough to teach you how to play. As for how to play, check the website's rules, for I'm positive that it covers how to play Beyblade, what is legal or not, etc.
You guys are fantastic with these information, Aura with the fast start and Ga'Hooleone for providing even the part numbers - THANKS!

I ordered already some of this stuff, soon I'm prepared for Christmas - yeah!

Scythe Kronos would be a great buy too. I would also recommend the bb10 attack stadium because it gives a more enjoyable experience than all the hasbro stadiums.
Phantom Orion>Scythe Kronos. And BB-10 is included in BB-76 DX Set by the way.

Not to forget- Hasbro stadiums are illegal; for testing(unless you are posting exclusively in Hasbro Testing threads) and even for Tournament Play.
