Purchase Consultation (MFB + Burst)

I am looking for a L/R beylauncher, and I found one on ebay with a grip for $13 (free shipping), but it's made by Rapitidy, so I wasn't sure whether or not to buy it.

Oh, definitely don't buy it. While its quite cheap, the quality of Rapidity's items are generally very low. Instead of buying the fake, you can always be saving up for the authentic that goes for around the same price, as well.

Not to mention, the L/R would be illegal for official tournament play, too, haha.

I so badly want Flash Saggitario and i'm sure i'm going to buy this but i need help for the other 4, which one should i choose. Thanks in advance Grin

EDIT: All are Hasbro Hyperblades..
After flash, I'd choose either cosmic or LLD

I wouldn't get LDD (I'm assuming that's what you meant). It's really a toss-up between Cosmic Pegasus and Omega Dragonis. If you have a RF variant get Omega, if not get Cosmic. That way you'll have key parts in both Standard and Limited formats.

Thought so. I can't seem to find any non-rapidity launchers for less than $100 though, no clue what I'm doing wrong.

You want an L/R launcher, right? Here's a real one for like $15. Just when you're looking on eBay or wherever type "Takara" or "Takara Tomy" before the name of the product and legitimate ones should show up.

Thanks! I have no clue why I didn't think of that. Huge derp moment, for me. xD
Hello everyone. I am unsure whether or not I should buy a Takara Tomy Scythe Kronos. I have Phantom Orion B:D, Duo Ice Titan, and Basalt Horogium already (all Takara Tomy). I don't know if there are any areas where the Scythe wheel outshines these other wheels I have in terms of winning potential. I have read that Phantom out-spins Scythe but I don't know if Scythe has better or worse defense capabilities than Phantom. I also don't know how it compares to Duo and Basalt in terms of overall win potential as a result of stamina/defense capabilities as well. I don't mind spending the money, but if having Scythe wouldn't make my arsenal better then I wouldn't bother. Thanks for the help!
Actually, Duo is definetly your best Metal Wheel. Scythe is a decent alternative, but Duo is a better choice. Duo > Phantom > Scythe > Basalt

Scythe is really one of the best, if not the best wheel for defense, but its stamina isn't as good as your other Beyblades. If you want a good defense wheel, I would buy it.
Thanks for the help BeyBouncer and The Supreme One. It sounds like I could get some use out of Scythe so I'll go ahead and get it.

I just have one more thing to ask about. Does anyone know if Prototype Nemesis is of any use? All i can find is information and videos about it performing in its gimmicked stadium.

Its not the greatest and I'm pretty sure you can't use it in tournaments

I don't think it have a competitive use in any format actually.
I have Prototype Nemesis & I can attest to the fact that it has zero competitive use, unless you need an AD145 or a D.
I figured the lack of videos and information on prototype nemesis meant that it was not too useful. Thanks for the info everyone.
I am currently going to buy a new bey but i am not sure what to pick, can you recommend me a good bey, here are my options - hell kerbecks, lightning l drago, beat lynx, diablo nemesis, gravity perseus, basalt horogium ,death quetzacotl and tornado horuseus. Hell Kerbecs and Death Quetzalcoatl would be your best choices. Death (assuming you mean the 4D wheel & not the Metal Fury one) is really the best stamina wheel out of the ones you listed & has RDF, which is a pretty useful defense tip. Hell is pretty outclassed these days, but BD145 is still an important spin track for many defense combos and occasionally stamina and attack.

If you can only get one of the Beyblades you listed, I would buy Death Quetz

Dude... I have quetzalcoatl myself and I can guarantee that it is a very great Bey. Highly recommend. However, you should not base what you buy on what others think or as the result of testing. I own Hades Kerbecs as well (I don't know how either, funny coincidence I guess) and it still proves to do great against zero get and 4d beys. If you want my opinion, try to find your own. Look at how the top moves in the stadium- or even if you like the colors! (This goes for the whole thread) Don't just buy what will do well in a stadium- get what you want.

While thats true, this is a competetive Beyblade forum, so generally, people want Beyblades that will perform well.

Also, if people just wanted to buy what they wanted, obviously they would not come to the Purchase Consultation topic to get advice on what to get. There is no reason we would otherwise recommend you to buy the black Lightning L Drago over Gravity Perseus White Knight Ver. because one looks better than the other; that is absolutely up to your tastes. So we recommend based on the only thing left : the performance the parts have.
so I think i should just buy a customized death quetzacoatl
(Nov. 07, 2014  1:43 AM)EDDYAxel Wrote: so I think i should just buy a customized death quetzacoatl

Customized with what parts in specific, though?

If you do plan on buying a stock one however, it does included Death which is a good alternative for Duo on some Stamina variants and has some purpose when on a low track RF-based setup, along with RDF which has multiple various Defense and Balance usage. Smile
I could not find death quetzacoatl .I only found variares and blitz unicorno.I am severly confused which to buy between the two because both are are good wheels for attack.I will be grateful it if anyone could help though

Neither are too useful anymore, with newer wheels like Flash, Balro, and Wyvang. The general consensus is that Variares is better than Blitz because it can spin both left and right, while the two have roughly equal Smash Attack. However, Blitz also has an RSF, which is a good Defensive tip, and Unicorno II, which is one of the best Clear Wheels to use on 3-sided Metal Wheels. Both Unicorno II and RSF are more relevant in Limited than they are in Standard or Zero-G.

Overall, I would say Unicorno though, unless you desperately need a left-spinning launcher.
