Proposal: Implement MFB Takara Tomy rules regarding mode change

The current rules regarding Metal Fight parts with multiple modes, is that the mode cannot be changed if it involves separation or disassembly:

Quote:Unless specified otherwise under Beyblade/Part-Specific Rulings above, the following applies for all parts with multiple modes:

If using a Beyblade that has multiple modes, it is illegal to change the mode of the part(s) if you have to separate or disassemble the Beyblade in any way to do so.

This rule was implemented at a time when 1on1 Battle and WBO Deck were the main match types. Now that 3on3 Battle (3 Deck Battle) is more prevalent in the WBO, it seems a little outdated to continue using this ruling, and restricting features. This would also help WBO rules closer align to the official Takara Tomy rules of that era, which had no such restriction.

For those who seek to maintain the old ways, it can be relegated to an optional rule.
Yeah we need this.

Opens more dual spin options for cheap with Dark Knight/Ronin and any Right Spin Chromium Wheels, and vice versa with Dragooon and Right Spin Crystal Wheels.

As for if those need to be limited to one swap like Gravity, or unlimited like Variares remains to be seen for Metal Fight Limited.

Recently I hosted a tournament in April with stock Zero-G releases.

In this event, I let people know they could swap their modes between matches, and Crystal Up and Chromium Up actually made a massive difference in the weight distribution and how it affected the play of each Beys in the ZeroG stadium.
I feel like it was something incredibly lost on release as most tended to just use Synchromes, and the current ZeroG format for WBO is also just Synchromes meta with F230 CF GCF ban.
Changing the rules could also significantly affect MFL events using the ZeroG stadium for the better!

Considering the state of the formats, and how often it is played currently, a change to bring it more in line with Burst in how mode changes work would be a potential boon in interest for MFB format play.
i agree no more "erm meteo r145cf is better because you're not allowed to change the height on ch120cf" cope
I get it, but I don't think DK (MFL) and Dragooon (MFS and ZG) combos need a buff. DK is already very strong and the subject of enough past hysteria that it would probably end up eating a ban (maybe a deserved one this time). The power level of MFL is already too high with Gravity and Libra present, and a DK buff doesn't help that in the healthy way.
As much as it has its detractors now, I don't think Dragooon+RDF is that healthy for the game as is let alone given dual spin. Nor should Dragooon have access to it generally in Zero G, dual spin is really scary in the salad bowl.

I don't have any issues aside from these. Sorry Neo, but your fave use case is the one I really don't want 😬

I really just don't think that DK is that threatening of a part. Especially with Libra and Gravity still around.

Your best use case for dual spin is Chromium-Up Begirados or Phoenic, and this can easily be restricted like Gravity. Swapping to Chromium-Up is more a liability than a buff. Its like a risky mode change, which I think is neat.

And as for mode changing spins in MFS; its just not a great format anyways so I think undoing the years of needless restriction would breathe any life into the most dreadful of formats (opinion).
