So from everything said here, ClockMirage might be B grade at best. From the pictures in Coro, the blade should hit 32-35g in my opinion. The gap could be useful however the Simple Types beat any good use from it. Admittedly 9-65 might be what makes it good, heck it could also be good on M-85. I don't think it could outspin Rod 9-60B but I could aslo be wrong. Honestly for a Basalt homage this is very intersting to see, it seems bad but has a chance of being good. Reminder every Takera bey nearly from the last 3-4 months have all been A-grade or higher beys. ClockMirage might actually break the streak. Also 9-65 seems like it could be good since its still low enough, however its simple type so Burst rate is way higher. Personally this might be a miss in my opinion

Damn. This is such a strange bey. Gimmicks to the max. Hopefully this will give us more 45/55/65/75/85 ratchets in the future then. But no M-85H for grey? No 3-85 on pink? Sadge :c

yep. Only blade worth using M-85 on
Edit: Why 9-65
you had me at the sick name "ClockMirage" and IMMEDIATELY lost me at "Apparently only compatible with 'Simple Type' Ratchets"

It's very likely that it WILL NOT work with Turbo (listed as Reboot here) as the connection point is shaped differently than the other "simple" ratchets that are, 3-85, 4-55, M-85, and the new 9-65.
The gap? Wack.
The combo? Wack.
The ratchet restrictions? Wack.
The thinness of the metal? Wack.
Putting THIS in the random booster select instead of Hovern Wyvern? WACK.

I'm definitely waiting for the Hasbro release of this, because like... what???

Fabel you were a MFB fan right? What could 9-65 even be a reference to?

Was looking to see if anyone was talking about ClockMirage. Throwing my two cents into this, I like the idea of ClockMirage being a fusion between Flame Byxis and Twisted Tempo, which would explain the gimmick to some extent. But at the same time, everything about ClockMirage is so confusing.

Who's betting this'll be another GhostCircle when it releases?

Me.
It'll probably be the only blade that works with m-85 though.

Honestly, it's almost more of a Byxis homage than a Horogium one at this point. The blade is super thin and raised, presumably really lightweight as well. None of which are characteristics of the Basalt wheel. Sure, it's got the clear wheel modeled on there, and the blade itself has a similar ridged circle design. Aesthetically, it doesn't look terrible (as long as you only look from above, lol); but functionally? They've already established being unstable and wobbly as a signature of defense types, if there was ever a bey to have that it'd be a Basalt homage with the so-called "staircase of death".

People talk a lot about having a Flame230 analog in X, but personally I don't see a way to make it work. Beys in X are already rather tall and destabilize easily, the blades are much thicker than MFB metal wheels of the time (requiring a greater height difference for an effect similar to 230), and most notably: you have to work around the ratchet burst system. Which they... somehow did the opposite of, restricting it to single-piece ratchets and creating a huge gap between the blade and ratchet. So now the thing designed to be taller than normal and used on tall ratchets can't even use a high-resistance bit to negate one of the many disadvantages to being that tall.

This might actually be worse than Ghost Circle, unironically. At least GC can use regular ratchets and make use of the burst resistance that things like Hexa or Merge have.

Ok, I'm willing to assume.

Clock Mirage not only is a monster. It needed to be nerfed.

Friendly reminder that even GhostCircle was winning in it's promotional video. You cannot take these videos as evidence of a bey's strength

That's what I've been saying the whole time! I noticed it a long time ago which is why, while the promotional videos are cool, they aren't very helpful since the Beyblade they're promoting NEVER loses.

I guess since it never loses, it's like a certain "Style" eh?? eh??? Ight I'll see myself out.

I know but thery've put it against legit competitive combos. It reminds me of the Maximum Garuda case where ir went against the then Banned Dark Deathscyther G.R. and won.

I'm not saying that Clock Mirage is a meta breaker officially, but that is not gonna be as bad as we thought.

They probably filmed like 100 battles and then cherry picked the best winning results. Again its not very objective. And if the win rate was say, 2/100, they could easily just show those 2 winning videos. We will never know the true stats. This is literally using data to kinda mislead.
