[Product] BBG-02 Shinobi Saramanda SW145SD
NO! Why? SW145SD? Couldn't they give us something that is actually good? They could at least give us useful parts if they're going to reuse at all.
.....and the cycle of reused tracks and tips begins. Carp. No wonder TT was hiding Salamander.
hahahaha. Now we know why the tracks and tips are interchangeable. It isn't just some clever plan to evolve the game, it also means that they can move excess existing inventory and don't have to create new manufacturing molds, thereby saving money on manufacturing costs.
The good news though is that we won't have to worry about the market supply of certain parts drying up. Lets just hope that one of the early releases comes with RF or R2F!

SW145SD again??? Great... Was hoping for a new Track and Bottom... Could be worse though *coughM145Qcough*
The whining about SW145SD is comical. Cry some more.
The track and tip being generic was how the metal system began. 105F, 125SF, Etc.
SD may be more useful in a Zero G stadium considering its thin profile. SW145 not so sure.

I guess replacing SW145 with D125 would be more interesting.
But no modes to change...

And I thought that repeating one of the Metal Wheels (was it Shinobi? Samurai?) so early was a step in the wrong direction.
Didn't think we'd get a repeat in the second release.
However, this does look kind of cool, so if I ever have the opportunity to get this, I probably will.

You guys are going to be surprised by what SD can do in a "bowl fighting"... but i don't want to ruin the surprise.
It could be worse I mean SW145SD has a LITTLE use at least! could be M145Q, 135MS, 125SF, 105F ETC. ETC. ETC.!
takara tomy you cheap skate. i really wish that it isnt the sw145sd used on poison serpent, however it most likely will be.
TAKARA-TOMY isn't cheap because they started a series from lower-end tracks and tips.
They did so in the very beginning.
They did so in the very beginning.
At least there's a new release with SD, there haven't been many releases using the part.
I, personally, am fine with the recycling of tracks and bottoms, if it means getting a part I have little of. And like Codeine said, maybe SD will act differently in a Zero G stadium

how long will it take on average to get a picture of shinobi salamander, we've already got the pics of samurai ifraid, so why is cant takara tomy just show the picture of shinobi salamander.
Photos will appear soon enough.
Am I the only one glad to see SD? Personally, I loved it, and it didn't get such a widespread release as other parts. As for the SW145, it doesn't really affect me. You never know how any part will perform in the new Zero G meta it could be the next BD145 for all we know.
Not saying it WILL be, but honestly we don't know enough just yet.

I really don't think we should complain, as SD is rare compared to other releases.

Get off your high horse. If Takara Tomy wanted to promote a new series, using underwhelming, uninteresting parts from the previous series is not the way to do that.
Your analogy isn't accurate either. At the time parts like 105F and 125SF were completely new.
The fact of the matter is that neither SW145 nor SD were designed for the Zero G Stadium. Regardless of what everyone thinks of the competitive merits of SW145 and SD, I don't think you can really get away from the fact that releasing these parts again at such a pertinent time in this fledgling series' introduction doesn't make a lot of sense.

It's difficult to know whether this is steeped in sarcasm, but I'm agreeing with the cynicism regardless. Zero G is both aesthetically and competitively exciting, but this has been sad news for me.
This is a bit off topic, but Uwik, other, and I were discussing something similar to that the other day. Possibly manufacturing problems, or something like that. Remember how (given it was merely a rumor) Flash Saggittario was supposed to come with GB145MES? Could it be possible that they were having problems with the manufacturing, or something similar, and this is a way to escape the downfall of it? 4D will end relatively quickly, with such a sudden haste.
V Sorry then, my apologies, haha..

No, GB145MES was a Japanese fan's delirious invention. I have posted that many times and I should really not have to repeat myself. TAKARA-TOMY certainly had no plans to ever use those parts. Furthermore, you have to remember that the show gets drawn several weeks or months before an episode gets broadcast, and 230WD was very visible in the anime, there was no way it would have been GB145whatever.
I was hoping that shinobi salamander will have a new defence tip that can move in the Zero G stadium or
mode change tip but SW145SD is fine, wish they put in S2D

I would expect newer parts from this bey but SW145... hope it does not suck in the new Zero-G stadium but cannot say much since this bey is not yet released...
SW145 may have the same effect as CF : making the bey scrape so it moves faster.

Oh we are going to seperate the metagame when zero G comes?
One question.Wheres the source that comfirms its name and parts?
It all really depends on how the rules of Zero G play are made by the committee, if there are different stadiums and etc. then I'd say yes.
But if you want to carry on this conversation, then the general Zero-G thread would be better.
