I think Flight is correct. A 'suspension' would definitely be an addition... But perhaps it is a new Beylauncher with an addition built in.

While it does need to be confirmed, it did mention shock absorption, and that it would cost approximately 315 yen ... I do not know whether this is true at the moment though.

well that is less than a beylauncher retail, so the possibility of it being an add on seems greater.

A suspension can be used for shock absorption; it makes perfect sense actually.

That is what suspension does. Absorb shock.

Which might give you a rough idea of how this should work.
(Yes, I know it's about mountain bike suspension, but the terminology is the same, look particularly at Rebound)
My guess would be that this is designed to dampen rebound while launching.
