[Product]  BB-113 Scythe Kronos T125EDS

Starter to be released on June 18th 2011.

There is a clear part (so, in plastic ?) that rotates freely somewhere in the 4D Wheel :

The expected EDS, Eternal Defense Sharp :

It is really just a DS that rotates freely, apparently.

Its owner in the manga and in the anime is called Aguma, and is seemingly the number one of the Legend Bladers.

I wonder how the PC Frame will really spin freely smoothly ...

I did not take this screenshot.

Attack Mode and Stamina Mode ? So the PC Frame can be fixed depending on where it is placed ? Actually, the stickers are different, so I think you flip it to either have it fixed or freely rotate. Yet another different customization.

EDS seems to have decent balance.

By the way, remember that the Standard Type BeyStadium has no Tornado Ring.

The PC Frame does weigh nearly as much as the Clear Wheel, which is odd.

Very good even without a modified Rev-Up Launcher.

Woah!!
So It's confirmed that the wheel is Free-Spinning?
Hmm I wonder if EDS will be similar to the bearing core... Thanks for posting Kai-V!
Thanks for the new information Kai-V! The free spinning clear wheel looks promising.
Everyone needs to understand this : only a plastic part of the 4D Wheel has free rotation, not the whole thing, and not the Clear Wheel.
Oh wow. That's quite something. Loving the free moving clear part (although in reality, it probably wouldn't affect much, since it's located in the center). And the facebolt is wicked looking.

Thanks as always, Kai-V.
Thanks for posting this too Kai-V! I'll be saving up my allowance when school starts so I can buy the 4D beys!
This should be an interesting Beyblade. Hopefully the parts would be good...Because the first 4D beyblade (BBP) weren't that good as it was expected..
Hmm, I wonder what purpose the plastic free spinning part will have? Doesn't seem like it can really produce much force when it make contact. Also, is this bey going to be a left spinner? I ask because of the yellow arrow thing that it shows.

Thanks for the info Kai-V! Like the look of the face bolt sticker XD

I too thought that it was in the middle of the bey. Thing is, looking at the second image, seems like it actually sits on top of the MW, so it'd make some contact with an opposing bey.

You can see how the plastic wheel sits on the MW in the first image too. Up the top, you can see some of the MW on the right and see the PW on the left, as it shows like a quarter of the bey.
I can't really tell from the picture, but is it :

Metal Wheel + PC Frame + Clear Wheel + the Free Spinning part?
The free spinning part reminds me of SW130 (or whatever Thermal Lancerta comes with if that's wrong) and Galeon. I doubt it will have much affect on impact but like BeyFan said, it looks to "levitate" above the MW and might make some contact. And BeyFan I doubt it will be left spin because wouldn't T125 backwards mess it up? I don't know much about it Uncertain Also there is an arrow that looks like it's pointing out it is going to the right. This could be a different part though.

Second image, where it shows the tip. There is a side view picture of the bey. To me it looks like it'd be face bolt (yellow), CW (back), free spinning plastic wheel (purple), then the MW, T125, EDS.

No, I think there will be the Core made of metal, the equivalent of a "PC Frame" which will be the plastic free-rotating part, and the Clear Wheel on top of everything. I think.

BeyFan Wrote:Also, is this bey going to be a left spinner? I ask because of the yellow arrow thing that it shows.

No, they just write that it is free-spinning, not that it spins to the left.

Ah okay...was hoping we'd be getting another left spinner.
EDS huh? Sounds, well, pretty horrible. DS isn't much use. Plus, DS gets deformed easily. Blugh.
It looks really tall, and Which part will be free spinning? or is it the whole tip? Either way, seems a bit eh to me. Oh, and the inclusion of EDS kinda makes me a little more doubtful of a 4D bearing core being released. They're just keeping on with this silly "eternal" thing.

That said, a free spinning plastic sub-ring is cool. Hopefully it will actually overhang slightly, making it actually useful. Any word on a mode-change to expose it more? I'm doubtful, given the fact it's already got the sub-ring, but yeah.

I was really hoping SCYTHE would be an attack wheel, so that's kinda annoying. I mean, it's called SCYTHE for gods sake, the name screams "GOING TO HURT/CUT YOU".

The recycling of T125 is interesting, if a bit lame, it's the first recycled Track we've had in 4D (and, the second recycled part, after Beat Lynx's WD). Kinda a shame, because I was hoping they'd keep innovating new tracks, but that was really quite an unrealistic expectation.

And, uhh, the Kronos face is kinda cheesy, I was hoping for something more awesome, not a skull formed by scythes. Uncertain

What I can see of the CW looks kinda like the detailing under BD145. It's almost cool, but too flat, from what I can see. Meh.

Still, I'm a little excited for this. I was hoping for a super-duper cool attack bey, though, so I'm a little let down Tongue_out

Well, Fang Leone has 145. So this isn't the first 4D bey to have an old track used.

More than likely just the tip.

Nothing that I can see at the moment.

Fang Leone has 130, which is still recycled, but not 145 at least.
Scythe looks REALLY thin and seems to expose the CW a whole lot. Hopefully it won't be like Evil then...
Hmm, at any rate, this bey would be interesting for LTSC due to the free-rotating part on top. I hope the spinning mechanism is upgraded, and not similar to ED145.

The metal wheel is quite circular (Burn-like) already. I'm liking this more and more Smile

130 wasn't recycled, it HAD been used as a height before (in s130 and WA130), but never as a plain track.

Uwik, it'll likely be the same as all old Sub Rings from the plastic generation, basically, just like ED145.

Yo, it came in the Grand Ketos Random Booster, or in another one for sure.
it was in the RB this bey looks pretty cool but EDS dosent seem like it will be very good but thanks for the info Smile
EDIT beaten
130 was used in RBV5 I believe

Oh, wow. Man, I look like an idiot now.

Okay, then, the first recycled track from a starter/non-random booster, then.

But yeah, that's kinda broken my point. Thanks for the correction.

The green colour is kinda cool, I guess it fits nicely with the "death" theme.
@th!nk: It's not really a 'death' theme though. They scythe, on the contrary is supposedly used for harvesting the field, Kronos ruled the 'Golden Age' according to the myth. Not the reaper kinda scythe. Yeah, I'm not sure why the skull is on the facebolt though. lol
