Considering the Burst mechanism is dependent on the way the teeth of the layer clicks in, and affects the direction of rotation, I'm wondering how the mechanics of this thing work.

There's a part that is supposed to rotate on the bottom of the layer that blocks off the other side to change spin direction

We can't say nothing on it from these photos but...I assume it has a rubber base.

Thanks :D I've taken some new zoomed screens.
It looks like a flattened ball, with something in the middle and tabs on the side.

I know this sounds stupid but I have a feeling this could therefore be a rubber fb but it would be like a star flat

I think the middle part may be the key to the gimmick. It may pop out or do something.

Umm, what beyblade model? The WBO does not make beyblades, Takara-Tomy does.

You'd have to ask CrazyAries. You could contact him by PM, he owns them.
it looks like a rubber Rb/Trans. Here's hoping it's a rubber Trans. Also, it seems to have an LRF shape to it... Interesting.
Apparently this Starter will also be released on July 1st, and it will cost 1620 yen. If it really just comes with even a Light Launcher, then they are ripping us off hah.

Also, the Driver is called Marge or Merge

Finally, there will apparently be a recolour called 'Flame Axe Ver.'

All I could find for clues on the driver is that Marge means border or edge.
Are you sure it's not called Merge?

That is indeed another way to translate the Katakana, so it could be that too hah. Thank you for pointing it out.
Apparently the masked Blader is called "Red Eye" hahah.
finally a new number disk... this bey is just amazing... I need to get my hand on it!!!
