If they “fixed” their molds so they don’t burst so much that would be a welcomed change as well as a good reason to pick them up.
Yea, like they did with Ace. I'm interested because Glide Might Have been Meta on 2A If not for the burst resistance

I'd liken any such changes more to Wizard than Ace. Wizard ended up getting an improved mold in Random Booster 17, and a few other bases got them as well following that release date such as Rock, Grand, Bushin, and Cosmo. All they did was fill in a piece on the underside that layers like Ace, Judgement, and Zwei already had filled in, essentially updating all base designs to match with the upside of improving burst resistance on these already lacking bases as a side effect.
What they did with Ace in Random Booster 22 isn't really as much a mold variation as a redesign, given that Ace never had burst stoppers on it prior to that and neither did most other bases. It's not like they gave burst stoppers to every base or anything.

I stand corrected, it's not really a Mold, as you said, cos technically it has nothing to do with Molds. I would call it Ver. 2 though.
But back on topic, glide should definitely get one
Honestly, when I saw this Random Booster, the only bey I was even remotely excited about was Imperial Dragon and Master Diabolos. But honestly, if I wanted an alt colored Master, I’d just get the blue one. As for imperial, i really only wanted it assuming it had Ignition’. But at that point, I might as well just buy the regular imperial at that point. Truthfully, I’m actually rather disappointed with this release. The recolored Variant isn’t truly isn’t enough for me to wanna invest in this
I agree with you. It doesn't always make sense to have beys in colors other than the original colors when it comes to Random Boosters. If there was at least one original beys, or at least one of them got a different chip – then it is already tolerable

Well for this booster: they want certain beys (Imperial, Glide, Revive & Master Diambolos) to look just like the lottery beys but with Suttle differences. The purpose is like this: if you could get the black & gold Glide Ragnarok layer & chassis, the black imperial dragon with gold metal later & chip in a random booster easily then the rarity of the layer would go down. That dragon layer and chip right now has only maybe 300 copies available. If everyone could get it easily for 20-30$ then it would be useless. The black master layer has a difference (the metal is black instead of gold). The Helios layer has a green chip i think instead of the gold chip (small chip).
The black/purple uranus, Red/gold Lucifer, black/silver Hyperion are special editions, the Lucifer was supposed to be a WHF bey until the pandemic hit. The purpose of the booster is to get great beys without spending hundreds on the lottery versions.
Yeah, I'm gonna open up my empty wallet and go get that Variant Lucifer.
You can also make a black & gold Master Dragon too. I'll be buying 1 more Imperial dragon, and a whoppin 4 more Master Diambolos beys from this booster.
I think I might actually buy one or two of these. It would be nice to have most of these except revive(maybe). I quite like this rb.
Very interested in Metal Defense driver!
There's a bunch of stuff I'm hyped for in this booster like First Uranus, gold 1S/2D, metal drivers and Master but man do I hate the completely irrelevant discs on this single chassis blades. Really wish they had given us blitz or sting or vanguard or something more exciting/relevant than the staggeringly outclassed and old 0, 4,5 and 7.
BRO, Why did TT decide to make 2 different lines of metal drivers

To effectively combine the concept of dash and metal drivers into one. Of course they still suck seeing as tt is still choosing the best drivers but it’s still kind of cool.
-Edit: Dont’t know what got into me but I meant to say that tt is choosing the worst drivers

I think this new metal generation has the potential to be very strong. Maybe not the first few they release, of course they'll start with metal version of not top tier drivers. But if it does have similar burst resistance enhancing qualities as dash drivers they should be quite good in combination with the additional weight especially considering how low the added weight is in the beyblade. Like a Metal Destroy would be much better than Destroy' if it has same burst resistance. Even if it's slightly worse the added weight could make up for it.
Excited to see where this line goes!

There were very particular of drivers got metal variant and which got dash variants so I wouldn’t get my hopes up just yet.
Will it contain any parts of DB layer system?

I’m pretty sure this contained the teaser for b-179 which we have already seen.
Rethinking this, I'm still going for Glide and Imperial for the possible Performance Changes they might have made.
But honestly this booster is rather disappointing, I would rather buy RB 23

What I meant was why not put it under a different name besides metal

Metal Driver so I'm pretty sure it will be the main Driver for the next season.
I really hope not. Unless the entire locking mechanism is redesigned (which would present its own set of problems, namely that it would alienate all currently-released parts), the new "metal cap" drivers are nothing but detrimental. We can get similar burst resistances from both dash drivers and double chassis, without the risk of obliterating the teeth of our layers/chassis.
New Random Booster Pictures:
These beys look sick. Nice to see some painted Chassis in this RB, unfortunately no colored discs though.
