My hunch might be right. If you look very close at the picture, you can see 1 tab inside each claw. Maybe those tabs expand to activate a barrier via Limit Break activation.

It most likely gonna have it thats Lucifer's specialty. I do have a feeling Mobius' is coming if not a completely new driver. Imagine this limit break activiates and the shield popes out that would be wack but it may be good for like a pincer attack and knocking out the opponent yk. I don't know if that's it but I am guaranteed to be wrong.

If the Limit Break is like this I mentioned earlier I would be really surprsied. I did not expect that, it was a total speculation.

I honestly really like the new horizontal designed chip, I really find it more menacing and detailed and as for the layer, I think the visuals are also pretty intense and fit well with its colours. The shape seems to be similar to variant but with more points in a more enclosed space meaning less recoil and a mix between a bumpy yet smooth surface. If said contact points have a good design on its top surface then maybe this could actually be competitive (assuming it’s limit break doesn’t get in the way of course).

Divert/Direct sound like cool names but since they are verbs they would also have to have some correlation to the actual function of the driver. What could it mean (I’m sure there’s something but I’m too dumb to know lmao).

Oh yeah, it is. I'm guessing the green and purple blades wont be out normally. I'm guessing the green things are just for attack, and the purple thing will work like a shield, and look sorta like a barrier while spinning.
