Recently there has been discussion about Users taking the quiz and not getting a response for months. Why is this? If our goal is to grow the community this should be our first priority. I understand people must be patient, but the quiz asks when you plan to hold your tournament and users are set on this date only for their quiz to not get back to them.

It’s a bit strange, because I took mine in mid October and I got my results back the next day.

You know something. It could possibly have to do with your area activity as well. However, I had no tournaments in my area and it still took about a month.
It has been a little while since I took my quiz but I waited quite a long time back then. At the time, I too wondered why it took so long and why select a date if it is hard to tell when the quiz would be graded. I mean there is also the chance to straight up fail the quiz...
I think I have a better understanding of the WBO now and personally I believe the WBO staff really do work very hard. They are all volunteers and many are at a very busy time in their lives. The good news is, the ones I know are very responsible people and will get the job done.
I do agree setting a tournament date along with the quiz submission can feel a little strange. I always assumed that this is really a part of the quiz, an opportunity for the potential organizer to show their planning chops for successful hosting?

Maybe more volunteers would fix the problem? I don't know what qualifies one as a volunteer but I would be more then happy to help when I can.
I took the Quiz on June 13th and officially became an Organizer on August 13th, but everything depends on how many tournaments there are in your area, how many people are in line in front of you, and how much time people have to grade the quizzes. It's possible for the Quiz to take a week or a quarter of a year depending on the conditions, so to anyone that thinks there's a problem with their test, it'll be fine if you try to not think about it as constantly as I did when I was on my trip to Europe during August.
The organized play team currently is very small in comparison to the overall size of the site, and many of the team members lead very busy lives. Just be patient and the quiz will be graded at some point in the near future. PS I had to wait about three months for my quiz to be scored back in the day, so maybe the problem is many organizer applications, and not a lot of people to score them.
Hey guys, I don’t have a full break down of the situation for you at the moment, but I just wanted to say that your concerns are heard and echoed loud and clear to WBO staff.
We recognize many of the issues with the current system (including, but not limited to the number of people reviewing them and things like asking people for event dates). We are working on improvements (one such recent improvement has been approving another staff member to start reviewing quizzes) to the existing system and also more radical changes (that may take sometime to implement) in an effort to improve the experience of all prospective Organizers.
Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for people to host WBO events while still maintaining a reasonable standard for the people that we approve.
We will continue to work on this and simply ask that you bear with us in the mean time. And we also welcome your continued feedback.
Thank you!

I'll do my best to keep the Organizer's Quizzes at bay guys. Happy to help out. ?
