I wasn't to crazy about HMS blades even though I have a lot, but I rarely used them, and just yesterday I was able to buy my first MFB Storm Pegasus, I've yet to try it in a battle but watching vids on youtube of it battling gives me some idea of how it plays out.

Defense type customizations don't work to effectively since defense types can get knocked around easily (besides Libra) and also how you can't really have an interesting, hard hitting battle without the Bey's getting knocked out so quickly. I also don't like how with the MFB's, some of the same tips and wheels are being reused:
Flame Libra
Flame Saggitario
Flame Pyxis
Dark Cancer
Dark Bull
Dark Wolf
Earth Virgo
Earth Aquila ect.
For the HMS, the only problem is just the lack of customizable parts. Only the Attack Ring and the Running Core, since the Weight Disks were... well the only smart choice for Weight Disks were Circle Wide.
The MFB's were a pretty good revival of the beyblades, but it could've been better. Customization has always been my favorite part about blading.
Defense Tips and Stamina tips, WD and SD are pretty much the best choices.
Atacks Tips, RF and maybe R2F are the best choices.
Balance Tips, CS and MAYBE FS are the best choices, however balance types don't work to well with the MFB's.
