dang, thats cheap... $500 for a full YEAR?! I have a gym in my house... but before we remodeled, I belonged to a place that charged about $260 a month.

For me, I have to go to the gym to get my workout done, though. I just don't think I could stay motivated if I had to workout at my house. I like the atmosphere a lot more at the gym. Seeing other people working out and getting in shape is sort of contagious.
