Calling out to all the bladers in Northwestern Ontario (Thunder Bay, Sudbudy, Kenora). We're looking for more players in the area who would be interesting in not only just playing but also tournament play. I know there's me and Meruda and 2 people who posted themselves on the map but never posted here on the WBO. I'm trying to get a couple of people who I play with to sign up beforehand but I was wondering if any of you were out there as it is right now?
We're also looking for people who would be interested in participating in our Thunder Bey - 2010 - Fall tournament we've got planned for the beggining of September (The 5th to be specific). If you would want to play in the tournament just post saying you wanna come!

Name: Thunder Bey ~ 2010 ~ Fall Tournament
Date: Sunday, September 5th 2010
Time: I would like for people to show up around 12:00pm so we can start actually playing at 1:00pm.
Venue: The Gameshelf - A local tabletop game and hobby store that sells beyblades. The store is located on 920 Memorial Avenue in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Format: Standard Format. (Metal Fight Beyblade)

Need-to-Know Information
1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page
1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page
Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.
2. Arrive On Time
You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.
3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings
We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!
4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours
This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!
5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called
Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!
6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions
All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.
7. Players Under 18 Must Be Accompanied by a Parent/Guardian
If you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must accompany you and be present for the duration of the event.
8. Contests, Raffles, Gambling, Betting, and Selling Are Prohibited
Advertising the sale of any product or service, as well as posting about any contest, raffle, gambling, or betting on this event page and conducting them at the event without approval by Fighting Spirits Inc. staff is prohibited. Please contact the Organized Play team if you require approval.
9. Terms of Service
All event attendees and users of this website are subject to our Terms of Service.

Hey everybody, this is now an official event! 
Huge thanks to MaxL for stepping up in an effort to expand upon Ontario's already huge competitive Beyblade scene. I wonder if any of the other regions around the world can match the pure volume of tournaments we have going on here in Ontario!

Are Hasbro Beys allowed? Cuz I got no Takara-Tomy Beys. I buy Hasbro's because I like collecting those mini cards 
Well, it shouldn't be a suprise that I wouldn't be able to make. With that said, I hope for the best MaxL!
As long as they're the Beyblade Metal Fusion ones that aren't the electronic, or keychain ones, you're good to go.

MaxL, I totally just realized we don't have a meet-up time :o So... what time is this shin-dig going down?
TylerPT: Out of the attendees I know of right now, I will be the only one at Thunder Bey using TAKARA, everyone else has Hasbro bought beys. The majority of my beys are Hasbro anyway. You'll fit right in

I'm pretty sure MaxL has Takara Beyblades too, Meruda.
Oh right, I forgot he purchased those two TAKARA Beys from another user (whose name I also forget. Early morning T__T). My bad!

OH! The time of the event! I want people to show up for 12pm. I want to start playing at 1pm. I'm on my PSP right now so I can't edit this into the event but I will once I get on a computer.
Hey MaxL if you want I'll bring my Stadium for free battles.
Sounds good. I can use any stadium for free battles, just so pepole have something to do while they are waiting for their matches. There are also drinks and snacks inside The Gameshelf so anyone coming by might want to bring some extra cash to buy a small bag of chips and a pop for the day!
