ZERO-G FORMAT

Registration: 11:30-12PM

THE REVOLUTION BEGINS! New York Bladers, this is your chance to earn paid travel expenses to Toronto to play in the WBO North American Championship, BEYBLADE REVOLUTION!!

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on this WBO North American Championship Qualifier Series tournament, regardless of whether or not participants have a Blader Passport (if you do not have one, you are welcome to purchase one in the place of the $5 fee, though), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

What can I win?
The winner of this qualifier will receive the following:
  • Paid travel expenses, by plane or bus (whichever is cheapest) to ANIME NORTH 2013 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for BEYBLADE REVOLUTION.
  • An ANIME NORTH 2013 Pass
Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto, but the WBO Committee will work closely with the winner to make sure that they find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs.

If you think you'll be able to make it out to BEYBLADE REVOLUTION: New York Qualifier, please post here and I will start building an attendance list!

Zero-G Stadiums need a firm and level surface below them anyway, so you might as well bring a few extra for people to kneel or sit. Is there no 'bandshell' or something ?

Bring a towel. LOL
Anyways, if it does rain in the middle of the tournament, where will we move?
If it does happen to rain during our tournament can't we just move under that tunnel sorta thing thats like 5 feet next to where we're playing

That is the entrance to the playground. You'd get kicked out if that many people were to stand under it.
So is the tournament postponed?

There is one but it's at a different location in the Park being that the Park is roughly about 12 miles long it would be a big hike if done in the rain.

This is what the band shell looks like:

The bandshell is not THAT far from the playground. The entire island is only 13 miles long. Either way, the bandshell wouldn't provide adequate coverage from the rain. We've had tournaments there before. Also, I agree with Cye that moving it under the tunnel wouldn't be a good idea. In any case, stay positive people! The weather usually happens faster than predicted. Especially 3 days away. So HOPEFULLY, it should be gone by late morning/early afternoon but the ground will DEFINITELY be wet where we play :-(

Bring a towel. LOL

I don't think you understand, I did that last time with 3 towels and they were soaked completely.

It doesn't help, and I'm speaking from experience here.
If anyone can all hardware stores sell large sheets of plastic which is generally sold for paint projects. Just one should be fine because they are usually quite big.
I'm coming Saturday!
I can bring a table but it can only fit like 3-4 stadiums
Change me to confirmed please
is anybody selling zero g beys?

People are selling things, but go back through the pages to find out what they are selling. If you see something you like PM them, dont post on this thread.
I need to know, Is the tournament gonna be postponed til sunday? I need to let my dad know this stuff
They'll most likely say what theyre going to do by tomorrow.
[Pyro] might not be available the Sunday right after, so we could have to look into different alternatives.
like what kind of Alternatives Kai-V?
Can you just wait for more news from [Pyro] ... It might not even rain that much.
[Pyro] told me that the tournament will not be postponed or cancelled. The tournament is going to happen since its only raining in the morning (well, as far as he knows).
Thank you and sorry for bothering yo Kai-V. I am so siked up. I am getting my secret weapon. (Hint hint) The Roman Goddess of Revenge
I am going there for sure
There is a place not far from the bandshell that is large and has a roof that we can go to if the ground is wet before the event or if it rains during it.

Also; ANYONE BRINGING A STADIUM, Bring cardboard for the bottom of it.
I dont have any cardboard, well I guess Ill find some.

So just to be clear, the tournament is going to happen?
