I just stated Perseus in my first post. Gravity Perseus D125RF to be exact. But the launch is strong nonetheless. My mint WD was moving around alot on my Earth Bull90WD and i just got it the same day as the Rev Up.

Thought I'd add....
The Rev Launcher makes 13 revolutions during launch. I've found it to be much more powerful that then current Hasbro string launcher (EarthBull125SD by a matter of 20-30secs). However, I think I'm getting that result because I like to gradually accelerate my launch when pulling the string (so as not to hurt my arm from stress). The extra revs are vital for reaching top speed at the end of my launch - considering my starting speed is quite slow.
I imagine younger kids launching at fully top speed might lose some power toward the end of their launch because of the length of the string (peaking too early). Has anyone found this in their tests?

Obtained Rev-Up:
Though A Couple Tests I've Found That There's No Need To Rev-Up At All.
If The User Is Well-Accustomed On How To Properly Launch a Normal String Launcher.
All They Would Need To Do Is Pull The String Once,As If It Were a Normal Launcher.
The Force Of Such Releases The Bey Automatically When The String Reaches It's End.
Doing Such Gives The Launch More Power Than a Normal String-Launcher
EDIT: Noticed I Was Beaten,But It Shouldn't Matter Since More Test Result(s) Are Useful When Coming To a Conclusion.
Also
The Rotations Of Mine Reach 15
I Do Not Know If It Varies Between Them All.

ok, you can use it like a normal string launcher but you don't get full speed. if you use it like it's supposed to then it's hard to do a sliding shot. but if you try this, pull it slowly first to get it started at 3, go faster for 2 and 1 then full speed and do what you do for sliding shot then you get almost full speed. if you use it like you are supposed to then it's great for stamina and defense and if you use it like a string launcher or the way i just stated then it's great for attack. tell me if this helps. i still have high hopes for this launcher.

If You Know How To Properly Use a String Launcher. You'll Launch At Full Speed With One Pull.(You Have To Pull Once,Quickly,Just Like a String Launcher)

Holy smokes, that's a pretty big difference.
Do you mind doing a solo spin time with stamina beyblades to compare?
Unless there already some and I missed them. :\

So powerful haha, so it stores up launch power from before right?
Game changing probably..
i think the rev up launcher is great i have 2 sorta WARNING DO NOT MISUSE then noticewill help i broke my first sorta friend used it did not use the button and well the button got stuck after the 10th time just pulling 8 times hard and well it broke its gyroscope or whatever cant take that much but it has many if your button is stuck and u fix it forcefully your rev in launcher is screwed i took mine apart and know all about it now my hypothesis is a bit stronger than beylauncher and dont break as easy for me at least and well you have to master it it is easier to just have beylauncher for not much difference i cant do sliding shoot on rev in launcher but on string launcher rev in might have extra power but yiu cant control it WB defense types its horrible i tested wont show resaults move too fast like as know worn wb do like a attack type notice this was hasbro stadium with storm pegasus (like just fighting uncustom beys) if you laucnh in the wrong spot pegasus self KO alot i love this launcher but is probaly best for stamina and with rf does a semi flower pattern like a atomatic but not as good what i mean defense is good but the rubber tips cs rs rsf will praboly just self ko or attack too much at least in a hasbro stadium Beylauncher is more easy to use but rev is more powerful so their both good you choose from prior experience like sd or wd sd being string wd being rev wd has extra spin in finally moments rev has more power by little sd is easier to use and dont worry about your laucnh as long as its powerful string well know and is powerful easier to use control etc it depends on personal experience do u wont more spin time a little or a good know trusty launch just know you need practice with rev i just pull at the exact moment when its done if correcly you wont even here the button is powerful as the revs 3 times im hereing about dont forget to me rev ing more than once is juist a safe system u pull too late rev again in my exp does not give any extra power well maybee little but if you just pyull it compleatly correct the first time that method of extra revs is not needed sory for long post hope this helped
i feel this rev in launcher is al this thread talks about now so how about i make a thread for it only for it for testing and talking and competitivly using it

I was wondering if that red no string launcher was fast.
notice and off topic i want to delete my second post on the double but dont want to delete all 2 lasy to edit the testing part

Otsu: Great vid. Clearly shows the difference in power between the 2. The amount of power this new launcher has is, in short, revolutionary and definatly will change the way everyone battles and tests Beyblade. The only problem I foresee is keeping ones stadium in place O_0 Anyway, this is definatly something that no one would have expected from Hasbro (so all Hasbro haters can go cry in the corner of shame) Likely to become a must have beyblading item soon.
Just had an appifany! Sliding shoot will become a beyblade murder weapon with this 0_O
Kei: Definatly a goofy lil' fella' of a launcher ain't it?Its actualy a second launcher grip head, rather than something that is placed on the grip holder itself. I guess it has to be bulky...
Otsu : May I ask, how was holding/using the Rev Up without the Launcher Grip? Was it comfortable? Easy to use? Or was it like holding a bey/string launcher? (akward and harder to use)
One caveat with the Rev launcher (but by no means a game-breaker) is that the plastic disk and prongs you attach the bey to are all much softer plastic than the normal launcher. This is not a performance issue. However, over time you will probably notice the two screws holding the disk in place start to pop - and soon after you'll notice the disc come off by either one or both screws....
Might seem dodgey, but so far I've found this is just because the plastic heats up during launch. It is easily fixed with nor permanant damage. You can take out and re-instert the screws with a small screwdriver and the launcher will work as new. Until it heats up again. Importantly, the 'breakage' is not permanant and will cool down over a short period of time (5mins?).

I use the Rev-up launcher on a attack type in the Hasbro stadium, it self ok's it's self.
So my rev up broke already, sort of. There are three gears inside of the launcher. Unlike the beylauncher which is just one spinning mechanism.
Some of the teeth on the smaller gear broke off so its not a smooth rotation. Ill post some pics of the guts when i get a chance.
The down side of the rev up is actually just using it. It has a few moving parts so it doesnt always work
right. It would have to be modded to make those moving parts stay still to essentially turn it into a standard beylauncher. Taking out the little stopper button helps.

well i love the look of the new grip laumcher, looks awsome. and the metalic string laucher is pretty cool looking , i think there is a slight difference between the hasbro and takara beyblades
The breakage worries me. I way wait for a revised release, but I also fear a revised release would decrease performance. Decisions.
By the time we actually get it in Canada, it will be good enough, hah.
Unless Canadians have already begun finding the Rev-Up Launcher ...

as you can see there are some teeth that broke off on the small gear.
if you notice, the small gear is engaged with the gear on the right side. that is the one is that connected to the prongs. when you pull the string the small gear goes up to spin the prongs.
in this picture the small gear is down, disengaged from the prong gear. this happens when the cord retracts. this allows the gear to keep freely spinning to get the rev up effect.
since the rev up would be used like a single pull string launcher, i'm thinking it'll work better if you find a way to keep that small gear engaged. a problem was that the small gear moving or if you held the launcher at an angle and it would keep the small gear down, not engaging the prong gear.

So Rev-Up Launcher's ratio is 38 : 18 as opposed to Beylauncher's 35 : 29. I guess this is the definitive proof to the fact that Rev-Up Launcher could produce stronger launch than Beylauncher.
Thanks for the pic Otsu.
Thanks for the pic Otsu.
So I've modified my rev-launcher. It's simple surgery; I've removed the protective ring from around the launch area and stripped back the launch mechanism to its bare shaft. Then I've merely replaced it with the prongs (and stabilizer - the white bit) from a normal light launcher using the main screw from the rev-launcher.
Why?
The rev-launcher has a bunch of gimmicks built into the launch machanism to help stabilise each lauch. This includes two plastic plates connected by two screws (semi-faulty) and a spring-loaded plastic plate to help eject the bey. All of these little bits are held together by three screws and some plastic clamps. The result - the mechanism wobbles during launch. Wobbling slows the bey down when it launches and makes shooting rather a dull exercise (no technique!).
The modification reduces the wobble to something comparable with a light launcher (which is pretty good). In addition, the light launcher prongs are made of harder plastic, which is good for release. The result is basically a faster spin on launch and longer spin time total. It's illegal - but how many of us hasbro junkies play legally anyway? I'm in it for the power.

Any video how to modify this rev launcher to minimize damged in gears?
