The string of the rev up launcher is longer than the beylauncher.
New Hasbro Battle Gear
well i got a rev up like a week ago and its wierd at 1st but once u get it. it lookes like its moving faster then with beylauncher ill try to get times of how long beys spin ok
Just picked up the new gear. Rev launcher is just a gimmick its not strong at all imo. Going to test Hyper Aquario soon but here is a vid of the Rev launcher:

-edit- actually i stand corrected I was playing with the rev launcher a lil more and its possible on a grip you can get a strong launch on it... video put up later.

It seems to be much more powerful than the beylauncher from what I've seen...in my opinion this has to be a must-own for all competetive bladers.

What have you seen then ? Because as far as I know all the videos that were posted seemed to show it was weaker than the Beylauncher, or at least not "much more powerful" than it.
Big problem I see so far with the rev launcher is if you rev it up too fast the Bey tends to fly off on its own. In a competitive setting you have to start revving it when you start with "3" so by the time you get to "go shoot" usually you have a good amount of speed. but like I said if you rev and spin it too fast it will launch itself prematurely. So far though its great for defense/stamina blades as it launches it powerfully straight up, but slide and shooting with it so far is really hard.

I have seen, from my own personal experience, that the rev launcher does, in fact, give a more powerful launch. Sometimes it can be too powerful but if you pull at least 3 times, it will give you a launch at least rivaled with the beylauncher
well for me the rev up launcher is more powerful then the string launcher but when chaos blader came over he couldn't use it very well, so string launcher is better for him. it must be a case of more experience or something, my only string launcher is l-drago's though. if you use it right you can get use out of it, but if you don't then it's just plain carp.
It seems very hard to do sliding shoot with the rev up launcher. I think the beylauncher gives more power cuz the rev up launcher presses the button. The reving doesn't seem it does much.
i own the rev-up launcher and i must agree with the previous posts about it giving the blade more power i havent done any tests but if you use it like a regular beylauncher instead of pulling the string more than once it feels (and from what i can tell is) far more powerful than the regular beylauncher. i too must say its a must own

If not, even a L String Launcher would do fine, we really need one here. Though at least they are releasing the Rev-Up Launcher, so I hope that isn't a disappointment either, like the Wind and Shoot Launcher.
Thoughts On Bolded:
Then Buy An Attack Stadium..They're Never Releasing It Here Due To Safety Hazards And Complaints That WILL Be Made.
Theres No Point For a L-String Launcher For Only One Left Spin Beyblade That Does Well On It's Own With a Ripcord Launcher.

Gee, maybe he wants Hasbro to release it because he can't afford it?
Of course Hasbro probably won't release it though.
Also, a L-String Launcher will give the bey faster movement speed. Lightning-L Drago should be game breaking right now rather than just top-tier.

1: Saving Money Does Wonders.
If They Can't Purchase On Ebay Or Shopping Site.
Then Just Use Hasbro Stadiums. We're "Suppose" To Anyway..
2: Faster Movement Speed To Self-KO. I've Used It Before,It's Better Off Without It.
Hasbro Would Rather Have Kids Buy Different Beys,Sale-Wise. Then Have Them Buy L-Drago+String Launcher,Then Them Use That Than Anything Else.
If you have problems with the Beylauncher L then that is entirely your problem. I have mastered it and now MF Lightning L Drago 85RF is almost invincible for me, with almost no self knock-out ...
Oh, you are only using Hasbro Beystadiums and Hasbro parts ? How come you used the Beylauncher L then ?
Anyway, you should really not 'knock yourself out' so much even in a Hasbro Beystadium ... What do you do with a normal "String Launcher" ?

I just bought a rev-up launcher and I must say this. . . . this thing OWNS. Just use it like a standard beylauncher. I don't know why, but i guess the internal mechanism is stronger or bigger gears or whatever.
You don't have to use the gimmick of charging it up and pressing the button to release the beyblade. just pull it once like a normal beylauncher and the bey will launch off. the power of it is so much more than the regular beylauncher. I used a beyblade with a sharp tip to compare the sound heard when launcher between the rev up and standard beylauncher. it's scary. I'll try and get a vid up sometime.

I was just about to say this. I mainly used this during the last NY tourney and I was very satisfied with the results that I got. It seems that Hasbro has made a launcher that exceeds that of Takara's beylauncher designs.
Hmm, that's interesting.
Can you even do a proper sliding shoot with it though?

I don't know why or how, but my Perseus always seems to move in a floral motion after i launch with the Rev Up. Around 85% of the time, unintentionally. Is there any explanation for it?

This happens to me sometimes too, but with a string launcher.(You're probably moving your hand a little to much when you launch the bey.). BTW what bey are you using when this "floral motion" occurs.

I just stated Perseus in my first post. Gravity Perseus D125RF to be exact. But the launch is strong nonetheless. My around mint WD was moving around alot on my Earth Bull90WD and i just got it the same day as the Rev Up.
